I have finally decided to try for some eggs again and actually GOT some. maybe because so many people have stopped playing now it's playable again. Who knows. Now I think I'll go put my old beat up screen door on, with a little gorilla glue to hold the screen in this time. I was trying to get one of these 'fell flame' ones for a long time.

Octoviola is about 7 inches across and 4 inches high. She has safety eyes, which are hard to get off, but not impossible, so she might not be appropriate for a really little child. She is stuffed tightly, so she has a very solid body to help her keep her shape. Hope someone will offer a little for her to help out.

YAY! 3 are completely new, and one is working toward's being another Alt Black. There's another new one too, but I didn't get it... supposedly you breed at skywing with a water? I bred both sets and got nothing. they weren't interested... and it brings to mind the idea that a bird can love a fish but where will they live? hahaha.

I also learned that a pink dragon can help influence what sex your egg/dragon will become. Male Pinks influence to male and Female Pinks influence to female. I need that. I've been trying to get a female geode for ever. I've made like 6 now and all have been male.

So this is the list of powers so far as well as I can see....

Red: incubates an egg to make it hatch faster
Green: earthquake can cause eggs to hatch with a small risk of breaking an egg and killing it.
Vampire: bite an egg and turn it into another vamp.
Pink: influence the sex of the dragonette.
Magi: So far no teleport yet but I understand this is coming.

Anyone think of any other dragons that should be added to this list?

So... I'm seriously far behind. I have switched my ISP and it took a couple of days to get the new modem and the router to play nice together. Now I'm on, and I'll probably read everyone but probably will not comment on most that I read this week. My daughter is coming back from her trip day after tomorrow and we're having second Yule so she can open her prezzies. I have two things of writing due today I think that I'll try to post on time. I'm so far behind though. try to be patient.

WOOT! 12:06. Came back here after preparing for bed and was just like "Let me just try a couple clicks at midnight. there they were... took more than a couple... and when I finally clicked one the lag was TERRIBLE... I must have waited almost two minues for it to click through to the code, and I was afraid to hit refresh because I have lost eggs that way by hitting refresh in the process. But I got it, and here it is.



Edit: got another... tried the same trick... trick only works when it is the only egg being offered like this.

Why must I be constantly plagued with dragons of the same sex? I took me about 6 tries to get a male green dragon. Now I managed to pick up 3 punkin dragons after playing at it on and off all day, and then the last one finally hits puberty and she's a third girl, when I just wanted one boy. Can't get a gold dragon to save my life either. I've tried and tried and tried. He's producing eggs to at a time now with Rojas Cedami though so I guess I'll keep working with them and see if they won't give me a gold throwback eventually.

I got a CHEESE dragon! Lookiee! Picked it right up off the abandoned page. Poor little bebe!


All these down here need to be girls. I've tried like 6 times so far on my green dragon and they all come out gurlz.

So... I seriously need a male two headed dragon. I have not seen a two headed egg in forever though. Most of the time I can't even see new eggs at all. Anyone feel like trying to breed me a two headed eggy?

So how sad is it to go out riding my bike on a Saturday afternoon in July and have to wear long legged cycling tights and STILL nearly freeze to death and come home with my ears aching from the cold afterwards. I mean seriously... it's JULY... it's almost AUGUST... I shouldn't have to remember my earwarmers to ride my bike a mere 5 miles in July. This is ridiculous. >_< It's now barely 60° and I'll have to put on long sleeves. I should not have to close my windows in July.

NOTE: That ranting was from yesterday and I forgot to post it because I was so cold. So this is what I have to say today:

So anyway, I got really tired for moderators on Dragon Spam and Dragon ER making rules to suit their opinions. For example, Dragon ER decided that instead of sticking with the one day rule that any dragon with three days was an emergency. Sorry, but 3 days is not an emergency. A dragon can't even HATCH until it's down to three days. So that bugged me when instead of enforcing the rules on people who decided to just post anything, they just changed them to not emergencies. Dragon Spam I wasn't getting much in the way of views either, and didn't feel I was doing my part because I don't have all day to sit and click and view and click and view. The other thing that irked me was that on one or both of them someone got VERY BENT OUT OF SHAPE because someone posted an emergency dragon (and it was) and then as soon as it had wings they froze it. I personally have never frozen a hatchling, but I may start doing that too. I don't know. Some people like to freeze a hatchling because they like how it looks and that's the only way you can keep it from changing into an adult so you can continue to enjoy it as a hatchling. I don't see a problem with this. It's like giving a dragon eternal childhood. Anyway, some moderator decided this was an horrific sin and said that if anyone was ever caught doing it they would be banned and so on and so on. I just didn't like that. People should be able to do what they want as long as it's within the rules of the game. (and it is.

So eventually, I found DC Fansite, which is usually great. It has the way to post your eggs and hatchlings (though you have to do it separately which is kind of a pain) and then you can open up a little window that rotates all the eggs through to get views which is what they really need. Unfortunately, I've had DC Fansite go down on me hardcore enough times and had enough dragons killed by that that I started searching for other sites. It's down and has been down for days again. I don't like forum sites, I want sites that I can post my dragons, turn on the autoviewer to do my part in giving views and then wander off and not have to constantly monitor.

So I recently found another site I like even better. It's called Eggs Will be Dragons. One plus over the other one is that when I post my scroll it shows all eggs and hatchlings and I can either check or uncheck them as desired. I can have the rotator show up to 200 scrolls of eggs and hatchlings every 15 seconds if my connection is fast enough. So I currently am rotating on 100 scrolls of eggs, 100 scrolls of hatchlings and all the er dragons. So every minute, as many as 500 eggs, 700 hatchlings and however many ER dragons are there. I posted my dragons before bed and by the time I got up I had over 300 views.

I also found Jade Destiny to be easy to use and meets my general requirements. The main thing is self service, being able to just register my scroll and have the rest of it work without too much trouble, and being able to give views on a timer.

The forums recommend Soti-Dragon's Nest it's okay, but instead of just adding the scroll, it scans it and shows you what the number codes are for your dragons, and you have to manually add each dragon to a box. The viewer only shows seven scrolls at a time.

Note, I don't particularly like to have to register for these sites either. I don't want to have to provide my email address and login just to post my dragons. It's annoying. Neither of these two sites require that. I don't remember if I had to register for DC Fansite and since it's down hard, I can't go see. Anyway, there's three more places for you to post your eggs. If you like DC Fansite you should also like these.

I have some things to say to some people, and most of the things are not nice. So I just won't say anything right now. Suffice it to say that some of my friends have really been pissing me off lately with their stupidity, rudeness and assumptions. I keep having this list in my head of things I want so badly to say to various people. It's sooo tempting to just post a list and let these people try to figure out which things are about them. >_<

Hey, why the hell is it so hard to get a male Spring Dragon? I have bred several eggs and picked up several and so far I have had I think 5 females and no males. I currently have three females because that gives me more breeding stock to try to get more spring eggs, but geeze... *rolls eyes*

Anyway, in the process, here is what I have currently.

Realizing that I only had a female Green Dragon I thought I ought to aim for a Male. So I Bred her with Autumnal Lochlem. Well I didn't get a green egg. I got another spring egg. So maybe this one can be a male.

I tried a couple of other breedings and had dragons snub each other, so I went to the cave to get more.

	I did pick up a green egg off the abandoned list. Not like they're hard to find anyway.
	I tried to breed another Frill dragon, but apparently SHE didn't like Rojas D'Artagnon. Shocking. Who the hell doesn't like Rojas D'Artgnon? All the girls just love him. Doesn't matter, I got one off the floor of the cave.
	I got one I haven't ever seen before, so go me. Maybe I'll actually get to see MY dragon before I see what it looks like because someone else already had one that grew up. If you have one please let me keep my illusion of uniqueness for now.

PS... I have a job interview tomorrow morning before work.

So my dream dragon grew up. I bred him with my sky dragon and got another dream egg.

I 'accidentally' have two more Autumns. I need a female. So one of them needs to be female. If one is male, I'll try to release it before it matures so someone else can have it. Then there's this black one too.

ETA: one is female... the male has been released into the wild and I'm sure picked up again instantly. So now I ahve a pair. The other is gone and adopted by someone else now.
