PANI/CdS and PANI/PbS nanocomposite has been prepared using chemical oxidation technique. The prepared products were characterized by FT-IR, Transmission electron Microscopy,UV-Spectra and TGA thermogram. FTIR absorption band at 415 cm -1 indicated the presence CdS and PbS nanoparticles in the polymer matrix.TEM showed the CdS and PbS particles are in nanorange with the average diameter of 21 nm. Thermo gravimetric analysis clearly indicated the increased in thermal stability of nanocomposite than the pure PANI. The appearance of characteristic absorption bands around 280, and 450 nm in the UV-Vis spectra confirms the formation of conducting emeraldine salt.

In the last 30 years or so there have been a growing interest among scientist, archaeologist about the study of sound in sacred and worship places. Such kind of studies now comes under area known as 'Archaeoacoustics'. In India such studies started to take shape in the 1991-2000 decade, and growing since then. Here I am presenting work carried on 4 temples in Nagpur (Maharashtra, India) namely -Kalyaneshwar Shiva Mandir (in Telankhedi), Nageshwar Shiva Mandir and Laxminarayan Mandir (both in Mahal), Bhonda Mahadev (Sitabuldi). Experiments were done with an ambisonic recorder. How ambisonic technique is useful is also been discussed.
