MULTI-SITE MINISCOPES

Quartet System

Multi-Site Imaging During Free Behavior

Quartet is an ultra-light flexible fiber bundle for central or peripheral microscopic imaging in vivo.

The Quartet system enables simultaneous calcium imaging of multiple brain regions in freely behaving animals facilitating greater functional insights.

  • Four flexible, individually illuminated fibers to image at different depths or fluorophore expression
  • Ultralight and compact fiber endings to image at an angle, and in hard-to-reach brain regions
  • A unique design that broadens free-behavior research applications, such as neonates and the water maze.

New! Miniscopes Accessories Online Store

At the core of every successful calcium imaging study is precise expression and optical access. Bruker offers a comprehensive portfolio of consumables to support your Inscopix miniscopes research, including Gradient Refractive Index (GRIN) lenses and workflow-enhancing kits. These solutions are designed to simplify experimental setup and enable high-resolution imaging in deep brain regions of freely behaving animals. Special Multi-Site Miniscope Applications

Advanced integrated imaging applications for your neuroscience research

Social Interactions

Multi-site miniscope imaging permits simultaneous recording from animal pairs in social interaction studies with minimal interference.

High Throughput

Multi-site miniscope imaging facilitates highthroughput screening of up to four animals at a time for preclinical studies with free behavior.

Water Experiments

The multi-site miniscope design places the electronics away from the animal’s head facilitating various water behavioral assays.

Lightweight

The four lightweight and flexible optical fiber bundles weigh less than 1.5g in total, which minimizes interference with natural animal behaviors.
