Going down the old mine with a transistor radio
Today is going to be a busy day. I have two job interviews, band practice, grocery shopping, a check to deposit, and a meeting with someone interested in buying my laptop. The next six hours are going to be hectic, but I'm actually looking forward to it. It's nice to have a full schedule after months of having very little to do.
Tomorrow night is the band's first gig. I AM NERVOUS. We somehow learned 24 songs in just two weeks and I'm not sure if I've spent enough time on the harder ones. I'm afraid I'm going to forget a chord progression, or freeze up during a solo, or look like an ass on stage, or generally fuck up in some way. Then I remind myself that things will be fine, it will be lots of fun, and most of the crowd will have a few drinks in them and probably won't realize if I fuck up.
