It is frustrating for Pakistan that, while it is going all the way in meliorating America's threat perceptions related to al-Qaeda.” it is receiving nothing but a lip service in return. Probably Pakistan would be well advised to turn to the East, that is, China in its quest for security: Pakistan would be better of if it gains full membership of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. We should not forget that our experience with the West has been total let-down; whilst China has always been a friend in need thereby proving itself as a friend indeed.

From the start, therefore, Muslims had to innovate and to improvise with regard to the form and nature of government. The first disagreements that emerged within the Muslim community, which led to the eventual division of Islam into Sunnīs, Khawārij, Shīʿīs, and other sects, were undeniably concerned with politics. But theorizing about politics was very much delayed, and most works of Islamic political literature seem to have emerged when the political realities that they addressed were on the decline.

It was practiced for the first time in Italy by Mussolini during and after World War 1 when the liberal democrats failed to come up with solutions to the problems caused due to the Great War. Practical fascism was not based on some developed fascist ideology; rather fascism arose spontaneously and at the same time in theory and practice. Fascism was actually the outcome of frustrations of the people during the war. They were weary of continuously fighting and sacrificing and wanted a new political order. These frustrations, along with bruised nationalism of the defeated countries, were the ultimate source of the rise of Fascism. Italy, though was among the victors, became the perfect example of Fascism due to the injustice done to it by its allies in distribution of conquered territories. To understand fascism in a better way we must first discuss where, how, and why it originated.

These rules and regulations are developed, obeyed, and transmitted outside of official channels. Informal institutions are also known as social norms. In order to investigate the part that informal institutions play in the procedure of democratization, this research is being carried out. The conceptual framework of informal institutions has been adapted to accommodate the specifics of the JIRGA. The Jirga is considered to be an informal institution, and the significance of its part in the democracy process is the primary focus of this article. This thesis makes an attempt to provide an answer to the question of whether or not the JIRGA helps or hinders the process of democratization and how it does so. For understanding how Jirga has played an important role in the democratization, three variables have been taken under considerations which are Public Participation, Social Equality and Social Capital. In order to arrive at a conclusion, the traditional practice of Jirga is examined in conjunction with the factors of democracy, such as participation, social equality, and social capital. The argument that has been made throughout this paper is that JIRGA especially provides a baseline, and that its institutionalization in formal institutions can play its role in the thriving of democracy. This argument has been carried throughout the entire research.

Swat is the best example of such transformation; which was one of the 560 princely states of subcontinent. In which transformation from a princely state to a provincially administered territory occurred in 1969 with the merge. It was just before 1969 that Swat was completely different State having structural and functional administrative variations from the neighboring parts like Dir, Bajaur and Pakistan.
Judicial system of Swat is the main subject matter of the study with a transformative phase and then the contemporary one. The old traditional system of justice which was imposed by Walis of Swat from 1917-1969 had a unique structure. The Shariah (Islamic) law and Riwaj (Customary/ Traditional law) or ‘Dasturul Amal’ (code of conduct) existed as sources of law. Then a transformation took place which challenged the old system and brought the formal way of justice but having an important addition of the informal ways which existed in princely State of Swat.
The study is aimed at the Walis and contemporary justice systems of Swat. The two systems have been compared by analyzing each one independently from the data that is available and a descriptive approach has been applied in collecting the data. The most important calculation is the analysis which has been made by looking into the contemporary system with comparison to the old one. The system has still flaws that need to be revisited because a quick and effective justice is the essence of the society. With conclusion there are given some recommendations which can be applied for development and effectiveness of the justice system.

From the first page, it plunged me into a fervid mode of double-layered analysis in which my struggle to comprehend the text was mirrored by efforts to track my personal reactions to whatever content I was able to wrest from it. Early on, my attempts felt futile understanding occluded by my intellectual limitations and relative lack of outside support. My experience improved as I pressed on, however. Slowly, mysteriously, sentences and paragraphs began congealing into coherent expressions. From time to time, the text would open to me lithe significance of Hume’s tireless efforts to bring human sentiment to the forefront of philosophical discourse cannot be overstated. It is because of such thinkers that, centuries later, we have a rich and mutable scientific and philosophical discourse about how we should conduct ourselves based on our experience as embodied beings an unfurling flower, or an exquisite sunrise glimpsed after an unreasonably early tumble out of bed.
