The current pandemic has a great impact on changing the criminal landscape. Extensive investigations for crime and criminal behaviors have revealed new crime patterns and led to the generation of a large amount of data and relations that need to be presented in a proper model. In this paper, we conduct several experiments on different datasets representing some major cities in the USA to study the effect of the current pandemic on crime types, rates, and intensity which can be used in crime prediction and prevention. we also introduce an ontology model with its underlying description logics as the knowledge representation model to represent crime information.

The analysis of human behaviors in social networks has been brought to the forefront of several studies. Location-Based Social Networks (LBSN) are one of the possible means that allow the prediction of human behaviors through the efficient analysis of user’s mobility patterns. Despite the remarkable progress in this research direction, however, LBSN is still hindered by the lack of literature defining the semantic aspects of the user’s mobility. This research presents a contribution to the latest knowledge representation languages and Semantic Web technologies. We focus on studying human behavior mobility which is the core in location recommendation systems. Bringing to the ridesharing context, an ontology model with its underlying description logics to efficiently annotate human mobility is presented. Finally, experimental results, performed on two location-based social networks, namely, Brightkite (https://snap.stanford.edu/data), and BlaBlaCar (https://www.blablacar.co.uk/) are presented.

The challenge of identifying influential nodes, has been playing a significant part in the scientific community revealing new research opportunities in many application domains such as recommendation systems, viral marketing and others. Most of the research done considered only the network structure with its geospatial information ignoring the importance of semantics underlying these datasets. In this paper, we propose a semantic-influence measurement based algorithm (SIMBA) that efficiently detects influential nodes on social networks. These interrelations cannot guarantee the success of online social networks without ensuring the existence of trust between nodes. Detecting influential nodes improves collaborative filtering (CF) recommendations in which nodes with the highest influential capability are most likely to be the source of recommendations. Although CF-based recommendation systems are the most widely used approach for implementing recommender systems, this approach ignores the mutual trust between users. The growing adoption of social network applications has been a relevant source of information nowadays. Due to its popularity, several research trends are emerged to service the huge volume of users including, Location Based Social Networks (LBSN), Recommendation Systems, Sentiment Analysis Applications, and many others. LBSNs applications are among the highly demanded applications that do not focus only on analyzing the spatio-temporal positions in a given raw trajectory but also on understanding the semantics behind the dynamics of the moving object. LBSNs are possible means of predicting human mobility based on users social ties as well as their spatial preferences. LBSNs rely on the efficient representation of users' trajectories. Hence, traditional raw trajectory information is no longer convenient. In our research we focus on studying human behavior trajectory which is the major pillar in location recommendation systems. In this paper we propose an ontology model with its underlying description logics to efficiently annotate human behavior trajectories.

In order to integrate data into the Semantic Web, the associated database schemas should be translated into equivalent ontologism. Since Descriptions logics provide a logical formalism for developing ontologism, thus it is considered the basis for our mapping framework between OWL2 and ORM2.

In this paper we present the mapping rules from a rich graphical conceptual modeling technique called ORM2 to SROIQ (D).
