The objective of this work is to automate the conventional power hacksaw machine in order to achi... more The objective of this work is to automate the conventional power hacksaw machine in order to achieve high productivity of work-pieces than the power hacksaw machine using Double hacksaw blade. The operator need not measure the length of the work-piece that is to be cut. The machine feeds the work-piece with the help of a shaft, which is driven by a DC motor . An DC motor is used to bring about the reciprocating motion required for cutting the work-pieces. With the help of this multi-way power hacksaw machine the four metal bars can be cut simultaneously to get high speed cutting rate and to achieve mass production for maximum profit in related companies. This project is very much useful and easy to install by user. The reference number should be shown in square bracket

AbstractThe paper involves thorough study of non-linear vibratory oscillators and numerical metho... more AbstractThe paper involves thorough study of non-linear vibratory oscillators and numerical methodology to analyse and resolute the non-linear dynamical world. The study involves the analysis of non-linear oscillators like the Van der Pol Oscillator and Duffing Oscillator. Application of regular perturbation method in the oscillator is also demonstrated. The equilibrium and stability analysis of the oscillators with graphical representation is simulated through XPP-AUT and MATLAB. The graphical and mathematical depiction of damping with altering parameters in oscillators’ equations is also shown. Saddle points, centers and equilibrium points of consequent curves are depicted in scale. Apart from the oscillators, implementation of “Method of Multiple Scales” and “Method of Averaging” in non-linear dynamical equations is also rendered numerically in the study with the conclusion that the “Method of Multiple Scales” produces better results than the “Method of Averaging”.

Autonomous Shape Formation and Morphing in a Dynamic Environment by a Swarm of Robots: Extended Abstract

We present an algorithm by which a swarm of unicycle robots can simultaneously fill multiple plan... more We present an algorithm by which a swarm of unicycle robots can simultaneously fill multiple planar solid polygonal shapes and also morph between different shapes. By decomposing the desired shape into triangles and defining formation points that lie on each triangle, the robots fill the shape using a divide-and-conquer strategy. Each robot is equipped with limited range and bearing sensors that are used for localized communication and for collision avoidance. The proposed algorithm also allows the swarm to operate in and adapt to dynamic environments, for example, while navigating through narrow passages or avoiding dynamic obstacles. The algorithm is designed to prevent oscillatory behaviour and deadlocks while enabling collision avoidance. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm through simulations using the iRobot Create mobile robots.
