This paper details the design and development of Wi-Fi connectivity based on home security survei... more This paper details the design and development of Wi-Fi connectivity based on home security surveillance camera using Raspberry Pi and an IoT Module reducing continuous human monitoring and controlling with enhanced performance and effective results.Adding wireless fidelity to embedded systems will open up various feasibilities such as worldwide monitoring and control, reliable data storage etc. This system comprises of wireless sensor nodes and a controller section for surveillance. Remote user alerts, live video streaming, and portability are the prime features of the system. Modular design is followed so that any number of nodes can be added or removed; data acquisition is used to sample signals and measure real world physical conditions. The user is warned via e-mails, phone calls or SMS after an unusual behavior occurs and an event notification is sent which shows the events captured by the camera. The IoT module eliminates the need for a microcontroller and wireless transceiver module in a sensor node, thus it makes the node compact, cost-effective and easy to use. The biggest advantage of the system is that the user can seek surveillance from anywhere in the world and can respond according to the situations.

In a highly competitive environment, web applications have become crucial to most enterprises, demanding the application's quality. The characteristics of such applications include client-server, distributed, and dynamic. Hence meticulous testing of a web-based application becomes necessary. Many strategies have been proposed to address the issues w.r.t test case generation for web applications. One such strategy is a Genetic Algorithm (GA), which is an evolutionary technique. In this paper, we analyze the test suit generation as a complex problem and derive the test cases with traditional test case generation approaches where the common generation problems are addressed with a case study. Further Genetic Algorithm approach, the parameters which can enhance the test case generation is proposed. The various encoding and selection techniques of GA are considered. The parameter of fitness function which determines the success of GA is analyzed. Finally the evaluation criteria code coverage is examined to assess the test effectiveness.

With the advancement of the applications and technologies being available a means of easy and safe transport to these impaired individuals can be proposed. E-Cab Service aims at providing these voice-based transportation services aiming visually impaired as an application which is instinctive to book cabs.

Software testing is difficult and time-consuming work requiring a great deal of money for software development. Testing is both an operation that is static and adaptive. Software testing process deals with the creation of test cases, checking and validating either passed or failed test cases. It is unidealistic to check only the discerning parts of the material as a whole at once. It is not possible to test the whole system once, so selected parts of the code are considered for analysis. Since the input space of the Product Under Test (PUT) can be very large, it is important to analyze a representative subset of test cases. During software testing, the most important task is to build appropriate test cases. An effective set of test cases can detect more errors. Software testing always requires high deficiencies. Test cases are constructed using the test data. In the automation of software testing, the important task is to generate test data according to a given level of competence. The improved test data are determined using the test case development methodology and the test data adequacy criterion being applied. For increase the level of automation and performance, these aspects of test case development need to be studied. This paper studies the various test case generation techniques using soft computing techniques like Genetic Algorithm, Artificial Bee colony methods. Further an evaluation criterion for the test case generation process, empirical study of Code Coverage and its importance is discussed.
