In... more This paper presents a model which could explain the occurrence of the Fine-Structure Constant. In a non-linear medium, a sphere oscillator generates a resonance shell at some radius, building a kind of synchronized orbit-wave around the center. Since the circumference factor 2π isn't very like an integer, this orbit will establish at a radius, which ensures an integer multiple (861) of the oscillator's (Coulomb) radius. Due to run-time of propagation and the different velocities of waves, in the rest frame of the oscillator's center, the radius appears a tiny bit more distant, relativistically. The result is an enlargement factor of 137.036002051429…, which is also the inverse of the mean value of αR K , when measured using the quantum hall effect method. An excursion to number theory as basis for structures complete this paper.

There are no variables we could tune around. Additionally, a simple mapping to our unit system SI is demonstrated.
We start with a medium, which allows waves to propagate and si-mulate and analyze a sphere wave.
This leads us to intrinsic proper-ties of nature,
like smallest possible wave period time and propaga-tion speed of wave periods.
This also shows that the medium is non-linear,
which means that superposing waves interact with the medium and with each other.

A simple classical physics calculation applied to a binary system while regarding run-time of gravity yields the gravitational redshift of General Relativity and yields a very simple derivation of the known formula for apsidal precession.
Fig. 1 is corrected in this version to be consistent to the actual direction of gravity, which does NOT point away from the gravitational center M, but is pointing about towards it. Otherwise the orbit cannot be stable due to a vicious circle always increasing m's velocity.
