Jaman Semakin modern dan penyakit semakin macam ragamnya,mulai tahun 2016 rokok herbal mulai dike... more Jaman Semakin modern dan penyakit semakin macam ragamnya,mulai tahun 2016 rokok herbal mulai dikenal masayarakat masih secara sempit dan masyarakat coba-cab rokok herbal sebagai obat keluarga,kemudian mulai tahun 2018 rokok herbal mulai dipakai untuk masyarakat yang membutuhkan.Bulan Maret tahun 2020 di Indonesia terjadi pandemi Covid 19.banyak masyarakat yang kena dampaknya yaitu PHK pegawae,jualan tidak laku,sehingga daya beli dan usaha untuk kesehatan juga turun karena tidak ada uang.Maka mulai tahun 2020 itu banyak masyarakat yang memiliki penyakit mulai berobat atau terapi dengan rokok herbal,untuk segala penyakit.Rokok herbal sangat banyak manfaatnya karena isinya bahan-bahan alami atau rempah-rempah.Awalnya semua yang melakukan terapi dengan rokok herbal hanya coba-coba karena sudah capek berobat kemanamana tetapi tidak ada hasilnya sehingga pasien sudah putus asa dan sudah habis-habisan.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat manfaat dan cara-cara terapi dengan rokok herbal.jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan wawancara,jumlah responden adalah 15 orang,hasil penelitian karakteristik informan adalah untuk umur mayoritas berumur 45-55 sebanyak 73,33%,tingkat pendidikan paling bnayak sekolah tinggi sebesar 60%,lama melakukan terapi dan memakai rokok herbal paling banyak adalah 3-5 tahun sebesar 60%.,Tingkat pengetahuan tentang rokok herbal baik sebagai terapi maupun sebagai konsumsi,maka tingkat pengetahuan penerapi rokok herbal sudah sangat baik. Motivasi sangat baik karena dengan tujuan yang mulai karena dengan tujuan untuk membantu sesame sebagai penerapi dan sebagai pasien untuk berobat secara tradisonal sehingga meringankan beban biaya keluarga.Manfaat rokok herbal ,sangat bermanfaat bagi orang lain dan diri sendiri,terutama bagi kesehatan dan penyembuhkan penyakit.

Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu rancangan pembelajaran bahasa yang partisipatoris, sehingga siswa mampu meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam berkomunikasi dengan bahasa yang sedang dipelajari. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada orang tua dan pendamping anak kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di rumah agar orang dewasa dapat berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar menulis aksara Jawa. Pembelajaran ini menggunakan alat peraga yang diadaptasi dari pembelajaran bahasa oleh Montessori. Luaran kegiatan ini adalah video tutorial yang memperlihatkan langkah awal belajar menulis aksara Jawa dengan cara melakukan tracing dan menulis di pasir. Selain itu, di dalam video ini, juga diperlihatkan detail proses pendampingan belajar dari Montessori. This research is to analyze a short story of Budi Darma’s short story anthology The People of Blo... more This research is to analyze a short story of Budi Darma’s short story anthology The People of Bloomington (1980). “Charles Lebourne” was chosen because storythemes1 in the text can be clearly analyzed by a structural perspective. A Structural analysis on a literary work thoroughly explains and exposes the linkages of elements and aspects of the work to form a whole meaning. By analyzing six Episodes in the story, this structural approach produces two structures. Structure I as the “Structure of Encounter” between the characters shows the process of how the two finally live together before separated for a long time. While Structure II as the “Structure of Inner-Conflict” reflects the innerconflict of man in opposing pain, misery, the weakness, and the dark sides as a human being by comparing how the characters treat each other showed in the episodes. Finally, “Charles Lebourne” is seen as a model of an anxious man pursuing his identity and interacting with others.

This research is an analysis of students' assignments on fieldwork. This fieldwork was an assignment of a course called Ilmu Kealaman Dasar (Basic Natural Science), Faculty of Bussiness, Chirstian Duta Wacana University. This course aimed to enable students to increase their understanding and concern for the natural environment. Lecturing with a teachercentered approach is believed to be unable to achieve the expected lecture goals. Therefore, this approach needs to change by implementing a participative learning strategy. The implementation of this strategy involves students' participation in some activities. Thus, students can comprehend more of the course materials and enthusiastic in their learning process. Te community which is chosen as a target group was ftted to the lecture materialswhich emphasized on issues of state discrimination against vulnerable groups and impacts of decreasingenvironmental quality on sustainable peace. Te learning outcomes which is set at level of students'awareness of social problems are measured by changes in perceptions of issues faced by target groupsbefore and after students doing a community service through periodic journal reports.
