Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design yang diujikan kepada satu kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas replikasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah tiga kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Sidoarjo dengan jumlah total 57 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan jenis pengambilan convenience sampling. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 dan analisis kemampuan literasi sains siswa berdasarkan empat kategori Arikunto yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup baik, dan kurang baik. The development stage follows the stages of the R & D method developed by Barg and Gall. Teamwork skills instrument that has been declared valid qualitatively and quantitively as well as are implemented in STEM project-based learning using one shot-case study design in three different courses. The teamwork skills are measured based on self-assessments, peer-assessment, and facilitator evaluations. The scores obtained from three sources of assessment are analyzed, using descriptive statistics and ANOVA. The results show that the teamwork skill instrument is valid and reliable to measure the students’ collaborative skills in the STEM Project. Pandemi Covid-19 memberi dampak luas pada semua sektor, termasuk dalam sektor pendidikan. Hampir ... more Pandemi Covid-19 memberi dampak luas pada semua sektor, termasuk dalam sektor pendidikan. Hampir seluruh pembelajaran mulai tingkat dasar hingga perguruan tinggi (universitas) yang semula tatap muka berubah menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) atau daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas pembelajaran daring terutama pada mata kuliah eksak. Sebagai contoh pada pembelajaran Fisika Dasar yang memiliki aspek praktikum, terdapat beberapa permasalahan selama pandemi yakni, 1) keterbatasan pelaksanaan praktikum Fisika Dasar secara tatap muka dimasa pandemi, 2) keterbatasan dan ketidaksesuaian modul konvensional yang dipakai dalam pelaksanaan praktikum pada pendidikan jarak jauh, dan 3) pemanfaatan Content Management System (CMS) dalam e-lerning yang belum maksimal menjadi kendala yang memerlukan penanganan segera. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mencoba mengembangkan e-Modul Praktikum mengunakan metode penelitian Research & Development dengan model pengembangan Rowntree yang dikolaborasikan dengan model evaluasi Tessmer. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi positif mahasiswa dalam melakukan praktikum mandiri dengan bantuan e-modul. Pengembangan E-modul yang dihasilkan dapat dikatakan telah memenuhi kriteria praktis, ditunjukkan dari rekapitulasi hasil persentase penilaian lembar kuisioner pada tahap one-to-one sebesar 84,66 % dan dan tahap small group sebesar 78,22%. Kelayakan e-modul yang telah dibuat juga cukup baik dilihat dari hasil validasi oleh validator pada aspek materi, media, desain dan aksesbilitas rata-rata berada pada >80%.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan model 5E valid untuk diterapkan di dalam kelas, BAS memiliki keterbacaan yang bagus, keterlaksanaan RPP dikategorikan baik, model pembelajaran 5E secara efektif dapat mening-katkan keterampilan penalaran ilmiah siswa dan siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap pembelajaran. The purpose of this research is to develop the 5E model of learning to improve students’ scientific reasoning skills. The results of this study show that the developed learning model 5E valid to be applied in the classroom, BAS has good readability, keterlaksanaan RPP well categorized, 5E learning model can effectively improve students’ scientific reasoning skills and the students responded positively to the learning.

This study aimed to develop module-based STEM in improving scientific literacy skills in distance learning through e-learning. Because this research developed module-based STEM, this study was named developmental research. The research procedure follows the stages of the R & D method developed by Barg and Gall, including preliminary, product planning, development, validation (validation by experts), revision, and field testing. Modules that have been declared valid by experts are field-tested using one group pretest-posttest design in an experimental class. This is a Quasi Experimental research with One Group Pre-test Post-test design. Research population are the entire students of science education of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Thus, the sample is taken through purposive sampling, which are 4th semester students of science education department. This research utilizes Scientific Reasoning Test as the instrument. Acquired data then get analyzed in descriptive quantitatively by using N-gain. In a brief, the findings show Students' Local Wisdom-based Worksheet has a moderate influence to the N-gain value of 0,6 against the students' scientific reasoning skill.

As consequences, the student learning process was to be less than optimal in getting learning references. The purpose of this study was to describe the teaching skills of students after the implementation of the Science Learning Textbook I. This study used one shot case study design. The results showed that the use of Science Learning Textbook I could train students' teaching skills. The average student teaching skills were 3.45 with a percentage of 78 categorized Good.

Dibutuhkan keseriusan dalam melatihkan keterampilan scientific reasoning. Sehingga guru harus memilih pedekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai. Artikel ini mendiskusiskan tentang model problem based learning yang merupakan model pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, dimana pembelajarannya dimulai dengan memberikan masalah. Pembahasan kedua, diperkenalkan pola-pola penalaran ilmiah yang bisa dilatihkan pada siswa baik yang berada pada tahap opersional konkrit maupun formal. Tes literasi sains disusun berdasarkan soal PISA 2012 sejumlah 5 pertanyaan yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh pakar. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis dan dideskripsikan berdasarkan empat kategori yaitu nominal, fungsional, prosedural, dan multidimensional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal literasi sains mahasiswa masih banyak pada kategori nominal dan fungsional yaitu sebesar 39% dan 36% mahasiswa. Pada kategori konseptual/prosedural terdapat 20% mahasiswa. Sedangkan pada kategori multidimensional masih 4%. 1% mahasiswa tidak memberikan jawaban pada tes literasi sains yang diberikan

The research method was survey research with a sample of 70 secondary schools of natural science teachers in East Java. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics with Aydin & Tasci model. The results showed that secondary school science teachers in East Java were ready for distance learning, with a score of 3.45 and performing distance learning using the Google Classroom app with a percentage of 71.8% during the covid-19 pandemic. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design yang diujikan kepada satu kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas replikasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah tiga kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Sidoarjo dengan jumlah total 57 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan jenis pengambilan convenience sampling. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 dan analisis kemampuan literasi sains siswa berdasarkan empat kategori Arikunto yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup baik, dan kurang baik. The development stage follows the stages of the R & D method developed by Barg and Gall. Teamwork skills instrument that has been declared valid qualitatively and quantitively as well as are implemented in STEM project-based learning using one shot-case study design in three different courses. The teamwork skills are measured based on self-assessments, peer-assessment, and facilitator evaluations. Hampir seluruh pembelajaran mulai tingkat dasar hingga perguruan tinggi (universitas) yang semula tatap muka berubah menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) atau daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas pembelajaran daring terutama pada mata kuliah eksak. Sebagai contoh pada pembelajaran Fisika Dasar yang memiliki aspek praktikum, terdapat beberapa permasalahan selama pandemi yakni, 1) keterbatasan pelaksanaan praktikum Fisika Dasar secara tatap muka dimasa pandemi, 2) keterbatasan dan ketidaksesuaian modul konvensional yang dipakai dalam pelaksanaan praktikum pada pendidikan jarak jauh, dan 3) pemanfaatan Content Management System (CMS) dalam e-lerning yang belum maksimal menjadi kendala yang memerlukan penanganan segera. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mencoba mengembangkan e-Modul Praktikum mengunakan metode penelitian Research & Development dengan model pengembangan Rowntree yang dikolaborasikan dengan model evaluasi Tessmer. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi positif mahasiswa dalam melakukan praktikum mandiri dengan bantuan e-modul. Pengembangan E-modul yang dihasilkan dapat dikatakan telah memenuhi kriteria praktis, ditunjukkan dari rekapitulasi hasil persentase penilaian lembar kuisioner pada tahap one-to-one sebesar 84,66 % dan dan tahap small group sebesar 78,22%. Kelayakan e-modul yang telah dibuat juga cukup baik dilihat dari hasil validasi oleh validator pada aspek materi, media, desain dan aksesbilitas rata-rata berada pada >80%.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan model 5E valid untuk diterapkan di dalam kelas, BAS memiliki keterbacaan yang bagus, keterlaksanaan RPP dikategorikan baik, model pembelajaran 5E secara efektif dapat mening-katkan keterampilan penalaran ilmiah siswa dan siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap pembelajaran. The purpose of this research is to develop the 5E model of learning to improve students’ scientific reasoning skills. The results of this study show that the developed learning model 5E valid to be applied in the classroom, BAS has good readability, keterlaksanaan RPP well categorized, 5E learning model can effectively improve students’ scientific reasoning skills and the students responded positively to the learning.

This is a Quasi Experimental research with One Group Pre-test Post-test design. Research population are the entire students of science education of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Thus, the sample is taken through purposive sampling, which are 4th semester students of science education department. This research utilizes Scientific Reasoning Test as the instrument. Acquired data then get analyzed in descriptive quantitatively by using N-gain. In a brief, the findings show Students' Local Wisdom-based Worksheet has a moderate influence to the N-gain value of 0,6 against the students' scientific reasoning skill.

Dibutuhkan keseriusan dalam melatihkan keterampilan scientific reasoning. Sehingga guru harus memilih pedekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai. Artikel ini mendiskusiskan tentang model problem based learning yang merupakan model pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, dimana pembelajarannya dimulai dengan memberikan masalah. Pembahasan kedua, diperkenalkan pola-pola penalaran ilmiah yang bisa dilatihkan pada siswa baik yang berada pada tahap opersional konkrit maupun formal. Tes literasi sains disusun berdasarkan soal PISA 2012 sejumlah 5 pertanyaan yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh pakar. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis dan dideskripsikan berdasarkan empat kategori yaitu nominal, fungsional, prosedural, dan multidimensional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal literasi sains mahasiswa masih banyak pada kategori nominal dan fungsional yaitu sebesar 39% dan 36% mahasiswa. Pada kategori konseptual/prosedural terdapat 20% mahasiswa. Sedangkan pada kategori multidimensional masih 4%. 1% mahasiswa tidak memberikan jawaban pada tes literasi sains yang diberikan

The research method was survey research with a sample of 70 secondary schools of natural science teachers in East Java. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics with Aydin & Tasci model. The results showed that secondary school science teachers in East Java were ready for distance learning, with a score of 3.45 and performing distance learning using the Google Classroom app with a percentage of 71.8% during the covid-19 pandemic.
