At the same time, telehealth devices are used by the providers to deliver administrative health and clinical assistance to the population. Telehealth is rated as one of the fastest growing departments in the healthcare industry (Edmunds et al., 2017). Approximately, 60% of all hospitals and 40%-50% of all health facilities already use one or more forms of telehealth or device market to monitor the condition of the patients who suffer chronic connections (Edmunds et al., 2017). Furthermore, it is expected that most large employers will offer some form of telehealth coverage to their employees by 2020. In line with the same, most states have already enacted parity laws that require employers to reimburse telehealth services in the same way they reimburse in-person services (Edmunds et al., 2017). A notable factor is that telehealth aids the rural communities as it provides care, which could otherwise be hard to access in these locations (Edmunds et al., 2017). This paper provides an action plan for the implementation of a statewide network of telehealth program that will improve the quality of care in the community. The plan shows how I will work with my physician colleagues and other staff. It also recognizes my leadership role because I will be the liaison to other clinics and the academic health centers statewide.
