This was achieved through the following objectives: Examining how e-inventory management; e-marketing and e-customer relationship management (E-CRM) contributes to competitiveness of SMEs. The study used questionnaires as an instrument of collecting data. It has been found that the more questions you ask, the less time your respondents spend on average, answering each question. Thus when your respondents begin “satisficing” or “speeding” through a survey the quality and reliability of the data suffers. On the contrary, respondents take more time per question when responding to shorter surveys compared to longer surveys thus providing quality information. Similarly as surveys grew in length, abandon rates are known to increase. For the purpose of this study the survey questions were properly moderated to avoid these pitfalls. Based on the empirical evidences and results of the analysis, the researcher arrived at logical conclusions that there is a positive relationship between all the independent variables under study and competitiveness.
