In accordance with the purpose of advertising make to persuade the target audience to buy products or services that are marketed. The changing times are getting ahead in the field of promotion and marketing by using new media. One medium that can be utilized by a company is to advertise on social media Youtube or known as pre-roll advertising. Pre-roll ads are video messages played before videos that have been selected by Youtube users with a shorter duration than television ads. OLX Indonesia is a classifieds website in indonesia that specializes in buying and selling products and services that is one of the companies that advertise on Youtube. The purpose of this research is to know how to use pre-roll ads OLX Indonesia on Youtube online promotion media. The main concept used in this research is the advertising tool. The effectiveness of advertisement using EPIC model model that includes four dimensions of emphaty, persuasion, impact, and communication. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach done by spreading questionnaires to students of Pancasila University by using random sampling technique.
