However, huge part in India is RC building which is designed mainly for Gross section suggested by IS 1893 part-1(2002). Later in 2016, 6threvision of IS code 1893 part-1 published, which suggested reduction in moment of inertia (cracked section).The 4-storey RC frame building is designed with gross section and cracked section properties of beam/columns usingrelevant Indian standards. Non-linear static analysis is conducted on 4-storey special moment resisting RC frame designed using Gross and Cracked section property of beams and columns. The seismic vulnerability of 4-storey of designed RC frame building is evaluated using non-linear pushover analysis.
