The main ingredient of ash is potassium hydroxide (KOH).Methods: In this paper, the antiviral properties of KOH were studied in vivo and in vitro conditions in mucolytic, alkaline and enveloped viruses that cause respiratory tract disease. For this purpose, a 6-stage study was planned. The physicochemical properties of the highest dose of KOH, whose caustic properties are well known, that can be used orally in humans, and the changes in the structure of mucus were investigated. Many microorganisms synthesize biosurfactants of different structures in different culture enviro... more Many microorganisms synthesize biosurfactants of different structures in different culture environments. Biosurfactants are amphilic compounds capable of reducing surface and internal surface tension between solids, liquids and gases. In this study, production of biosurfactant was be carried out using waste frying oil and corn steep liquor by bacillus sp. isolated from soil, clinical isolates Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli. These bacteria were incubated for 72 hours at 37 oC in the corn steep liquor(CSL) and LB broth containing 5% waste oil. Then, these produced biosurfactants were detected by oil spreading technique. All samples with a zone diameter exceeding 1.5 cm were considered positive. In this study, serious tests have been applied in the laboratory to investigate the availability ... more In this study, serious tests have been applied in the laboratory to investigate the availability of sandy soils with Bacillus simplex for increasing the bearing capacity and decreasing consolidation settlement. In the examinations, sand samples which were taken from river bed were used. Experiments were performed at Cukurova University Central Laboratory and soil mechanics laboratory of Civil Engineering Department on oven-dried sand samples. The sand was classified as uniform clean sand (SP). At experiments, B.simplex have been injected into the sandy soil with low bearing capacity. B.simplex is a bacterium that produces calcium carbonate. The B.simplex has been fed for adherence to the sandy soil. Then they have been dried in an oven fed and engineering experiments have been carried out. As a result of study, it was observed that the engineering properties of the sandy soils could be improved by injecting B.simplex into the soil

(bzs. rnk.), tablo ; 29 cm.Bu çalışmada Akridin Oranj’ın Lemna gibba ve Ulva lactuca kullanılarak adsorpsiyon ile uzaklaştırılması çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada pH’ın etkinliği her iki bitki için araştırılmış ve optimum pH Lemna gibba için 9 ve Ulva lactuca için 2 olarak belirlenmiştir. Adsorpsiyona sıcaklığın etkisi incelenerek, sıcaklık arttıkça Lemna gibba’nın adsorpsiyon kapasitesi artarken, Ulva lactuca’nın adsorpsiton kapasitesinin azaldığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar doğrultusunda izoterm modelinin Langmuir izoterm modeline uygun olduğu görülmüştür. Zamana bağlı olarak yapılan adsorpsiyon deneylerinde, Ulva lactuca için denge adsoprsiyon zamanı 50 dakika, Lemna gibba için denge adsorpsiyon zamanı ise 40 dakika olarak belirlenmiştir.
