The number of infections is influenced by personal hygiene. Personal hygiene consists of the habit of washing hands, cutting nails, eating, defecating and ownership of latrines, and the use of personal protective equipment. This study used a cross sectional research design conducted at Widodaren Plantation with 68 people of samples. Stool examination was determined by kato-katz method, sedimentation, and floatation to detect the presence of Soil-Transmitted Helminth (STH) eggs, while personal hygiene was assessed using questionnaires. Questionnaire and stool examination datas were processed using SPSS data analysis with chi-square method. Stimulasi dini perlu dilakukan sebagai upaya orang tua terutama ibu untuk memajukan perkembangan anak. Sebelum melakukan stimulasi, ibu memerlukan bekal pengetahuan tentang stimulasi agar ibu dapat memberikan stimulasi perkembangan kepada anak secara baik dan benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi bahasa dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 1-3 tahun di desa Lengkong kecamatan Mumbulsari kabupaten Jember. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 70 ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 1-3 tahun di Desa Lengkong Kecamatan Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Uji korelasi Spearman antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi bahasa dengan perkembangan anak usia 1-3 tahun yaitu p=0,000 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi bahasa dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 1-3 tahun di Desa Lengkong Kecamatan Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember.

Kemoterapi doxorubicin sering digunakan dalam pengobatan kanker, namun sebanding dengan efektifitasnya doxo-rubicin memiliki banyak efek samping, salah satunya doxorubicin dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan ginjal melalui proses interstitial fibrosis. Pemanfaatan ekstrak bawang kucai (Allium tuberosum) sebagai ko kemoterapi untuk mengurangi keruskan ginjal akibat doxo-rubicin merupakan peluang yang prospektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari efek nefroprotektif ekstrak bawang kucai terhadap kadar BUN dan kreatinin tikus wistar yang diinduksi doxorubicin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah quasi experimental design dengan randomized post test only controlled grup. How Is Your Cleaning Behavior? House Dust Mites and Its Relationship to Allergic Rhinitis

The main allergen of allergic rhinitis is house dust mites (HDM), that often found in humid room ... more The main allergen of allergic rhinitis is house dust mites (HDM), that often found in humid room conditions and furnitures. The health behaviour consists of knowledge, attitude, and practice is closely related to the occurrence of disease including allergic rhinitis. One of the methods to screen allergic rhinitis is the score for allergic rhinitis (SFAR) questionnaire. This study aimed to determine the relationship between behaviour (knowledge, attitude, and practice) on house dust mites and the SFAR score. This was an analytical observational study on female population age 17-34 years old in Jember District. As many as 141 respondents were selected using the purposive sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected using an online behaviour questionnaire and the SFAR. The primary data were analyzed statistically by chi-square test with a significance value of p <0.05. The results showed that 46 respondents (32.62%) had an SFAR score > 7, indicated allergic rhinitis symptoms. The majority of respondents (76 people or 54%) had sufficient knowledge about HDM, as many as 132 respondents (93.62%) had a good attitude towards HDM and 94 respondents (66.67%) had a good practice towards HDM. Statistical analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitude, and practice on HDM and the SFAR score, each with the value of p = 0.000. In conclusion, good knowledge, attitude, and practice to HDM would decrease the HDM population resulting in reduce of allergic rhinitis risk, that could be screened by SFAR.

The existence of technology is very helpful for teachers to increase student interest in learning about English language lesson. The development of the digital world is used by teachers to be used as a tool to facilitate student learning. This research focuses on the role of using a digital application called Wattpad which will make students diligently read English reading texts, so that they become more skilled in learning. In this research, the researchers defined the term digital application to explain the use of digital application in an effort to improve English as a foreign language learning skill. The related review of literature shows that the use of multi-media technology can improve students’ language learning skills because matches their interests. Therefore, their English skills can be better.

Apostasy, sociologically, is a despicable behavior, because it is an act of betrayal against the ... more Apostasy, sociologically, is a despicable behavior, because it is an act of betrayal against the fundamentals of a religion. Let alone, if the apostate ventured into public space to spread his ideas of apostasy, the consequences of his act would be more severe. But epistemologically, apostasy cannot be judged as a terrible action, because the ways of thinking in an epistemological framework is not religion, but is measured by paradigmatic-objective rationality. Paradigmatically, apostasy is a conversion or a change of religious conviction. The apostate usually underwent an anomalous process, before critically reconstituted his new religious knowledge which he or she believed is more true. This happened to be Ibn Warraq. This paper tries to discuss the case of his apostasy, epistemologically, by using Thomas Khun's paradigm theory. Findings of this study indicates that Ibn Warraq's apostasy is based on three anomalies of Islamic thoughts. They are anomaly of the Qur'anic knowledge, of the prophecy and of the Muslims' attitudes. These anomalies were then developed by Warraq through three critical paradigms of thinking: a historical dialectics that is antihermeneutic, partial reductionism, and rational realism. By this he wanted to build an understanding of Islam that is applicable to Western religious cultures, that is, anti fundamentalism, anti sacredness, anti intolerance, and anti totality in religion.

Stimulasi dini perlu dilakukan sebagai upaya orang tua terutama ibu untuk memajukan perkembangan anak. Sebelum melakukan stimulasi, ibu memerlukan bekal pengetahuan tentang stimulasi agar ibu dapat memberikan stimulasi perkembangan kepada anak secara baik dan benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi bahasa dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 1-3 tahun di desa Lengkong kecamatan Mumbulsari kabupaten Jember. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 70 ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 1-3 tahun di Desa Lengkong Kecamatan Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Uji korelasi Spearman antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi bahasa dengan perkembangan anak usia 1-3 tahun yaitu p=0,000 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi bahasa dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 1-3 tahun di Desa Lengkong Kecamatan Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember.

Kemoterapi doxorubicin sering digunakan dalam pengobatan kanker, namun sebanding dengan efektifitasnya doxo-rubicin memiliki banyak efek samping, salah satunya doxorubicin dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan ginjal melalui proses interstitial fibrosis. Pemanfaatan ekstrak bawang kucai (Allium tuberosum) sebagai ko kemoterapi untuk mengurangi keruskan ginjal akibat doxo-rubicin merupakan peluang yang prospektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari efek nefroprotektif ekstrak bawang kucai terhadap kadar BUN dan kreatinin tikus wistar yang diinduksi doxorubicin. The health behaviour consists of knowledge, attitude, and practice is closely related to the occurrence of disease including allergic rhinitis. One of the methods to screen allergic rhinitis is the score for allergic rhinitis (SFAR) questionnaire. This study aimed to determine the relationship between behaviour (knowledge, attitude, and practice) on house dust mites and the SFAR score. This was an analytical observational study on female population age 17-34 years old in Jember District. As many as 141 respondents were selected using the purposive sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected using an online behaviour questionnaire and the SFAR. The primary data were analyzed statistically by chi-square test with a significance value of p <0.05. The results showed that 46 respondents (32.62%) had an SFAR score > 7, indicated allergic rhinitis symptoms. The majority of respondents (76 people or 54%) had sufficient knowledge about HDM, as many as 132 respondents (93.62%) had a good attitude towards HDM and 94 respondents (66.67%) had a good practice towards HDM. Statistical analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitude, and practice on HDM and the SFAR score, each with the value of p = 0.000. In conclusion, good knowledge, attitude, and practice to HDM would decrease the HDM population resulting in reduce of allergic rhinitis risk, that could be screened by SFAR.

In this research, the researchers defined the term digital application to explain the use of digital application in an effort to improve English as a foreign language learning skill. The related review of literature shows that the use of multi-media technology can improve students’ language learning skills because matches their interests. Therefore, their English skills can be better.

Apostasy, sociologically, is a despicable behavior, because it is an act of betrayal against the ... more Apostasy, sociologically, is a despicable behavior, because it is an act of betrayal against the fundamentals of a religion. Let alone, if the apostate ventured into public space to spread his ideas of apostasy, the consequences of his act would be more severe. But epistemologically, apostasy cannot be judged as a terrible action, because the ways of thinking in an epistemological framework is not religion, but is measured by paradigmatic-objective rationality. Paradigmatically, apostasy is a conversion or a change of religious conviction. The apostate usually underwent an anomalous process, before critically reconstituted his new religious knowledge which he or she believed is more true. This happened to be Ibn Warraq. This paper tries to discuss the case of his apostasy, epistemologically, by using Thomas Khun's paradigm theory. Findings of this study indicates that Ibn Warraq's apostasy is based on three anomalies of Islamic thoughts. They are anomaly of the Qur'anic knowledge, of the prophecy and of the Muslims' attitudes. These anomalies were then developed by Warraq through three critical paradigms of thinking: a historical dialectics that is antihermeneutic, partial reductionism, and rational realism. By this he wanted to build an understanding of Islam that is applicable to Western religious cultures, that is, anti fundamentalism, anti sacredness, anti intolerance, and anti totality in religion.
