Classes of the first batch pupils organized in the municipality were held in a two-room building made of light materials located in the Catalino Abilay lot where the Municipal Annex Executive Building now stands. From 1909 to 1912, classes were held in a rented building. In the latter part of 1912, classes were transferred to the two buildings that was erected on a one-half hectare lot donated by Don Tomas Salvador where the present school now occupies. By purchase and other donations, the school site was expanded to a two-hectare lot. During the Japanese occupation, the school was converted by the Japanese occupying forces as a barracks for their soldiers. However, towards the end of the war in 1945, the local guerillas headed by Capt. Andres Diez were convened overnight by Major Barros and Major Juan Miranda in the main Gabaldon building of the school before they proceeded to launch a final major assault to the Japanese forces in Naga City. Throughout the years of its existence, the school has produced numerous alumnus who were outstanding in their various fields of endeavor.

This particular Volume contains the reports on Ferdinand Magellan's Voyage to the East.
AT BARANGAY SAN JOSE-SAN PABLO, CAMALIGAN, C.S. FOR CYCLE 1 and 2.
Apart from this, another importance of Ferdinand Magellan’s travel is the fact that he had scientifically proven to humankind that planet Earth was round and not flat because his armada in 1521 (1520?) had finally circumnavigated the world for the first time.

During more than three centuries from the year 1521 up to 1896, fanatic missionaries went on their frenetic rampage to discover new lands in order to plant their old religion in East Asia and to name them for their king. It was thus that the Spaniards discovered almost all the Philippines in this way. In translating Platero’s work from the Spanish original into the English language, it is our intention to help researchers trace the root for some of the present-day familiar Filipino surnames from the surnames used by the Franciscan friars who founded or ministered the early Philippine towns.
