Vitelline vessel remnants (VVRs) are found in approximately 4-11% of umbilical cords. While these remnants retain an active fetal circulation, this has never been studied. Using an operating microscope, VVRs were catheterized, injected with ink, and then examined grossly and histologically. Over 90% of VVRs are paired thin-walled vessels with afferent and efferent circulation completed within the cord via capillary plexuses and bridging vessels; <10% are single thin-walled arterial vessels running the length of the cord to the placental disc, with their venous return circulation via allantoic umbilical vessels.

Peri-implant diseases are inflammatory conditions affecting the soft and hard tissues around dental implants. Despite the large number of investigations aimed at identifying the best approach to treat these conditions, there is still no universally recognized protocol to solve these complications successfully and predictably. This review will focus on the regenerative treatment of peri-implant osseous defects in order to provide some evidence that can aid clinicians in the approach to peri-implant disease treatment.

These retablos are an important heritage which was recorded in full detail for its better future conservation and knowledge. This article presents the outcome of this process and it is ultimately aimed at promoting and giving greater visibility to this art, which is still alive today in the Philippines and where it has evolved to produce its own local tradition, while remaining linked to its early Spanish precedents.

It is an application that can recommend to the college applicant what appropriate university program can be enrolled based on ones' personality type and knowledge strength. Moreover, the students may enjoy GSTEM-CAT application because they see graphical objects associated to personality type test. The developed tool was evaluated by the respondents and based on the evaluation results, the software satisfied its implied functions and is functional, usable and reliable. Hence, it can be already used by the students and school administrators to assess and recommend set of college program that the student may take up, therefore providing opportunities for successful program completion.

While there are some gaps in the data, the overall coverage of reported bilateral net international investment positions (IIPs) appears satisfactory. The dataset provides a richer picture of financial linkages, enabling us to map the financing of Euro area imbalances. Creditor and debtor positions vis-à-vis the rest of the EU have tended to increase between 2000 and 2008, with capital flowing largely from wealthier to catching-up economies. This has in particular resulted in an increased interdependency among Euro Area economies.
