This research aims to analyze the preferences attributes of the house, which consists of: locatio... more This research aims to analyze the preferences attributes of the house, which consists of: location, public facilities and social facilities, prices, mortgage facilities, legality, credibility of the developer, and the promotion to the consumer's decision to buy the house. Respondents in this study were 120 consumers who bought a house in three residential locations in the city of Palembang, with housing categories: lower class, middle class and upper class. To obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between the dependent and independent variables used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the preferences attributes of the house, which consists of: location, public facilities and social facilities, prices, mortgage facilities, legality, credibility of the developer, and the promotion of both partially and simultaneously influence positively and significantly influence the consumer's decision to buy the house. Judging from the value of the coefficient of determination (r-square) of 0.876, indicating that the consumer's decision to buy the house jointly described by variables of attribute location, public facilities and social facilities, prices, mortgage facilities, legality, credibility of the developer, and the promotion by 87.6%, the remaining 12.4% is influenced by other variables. While most dominant attribute to the consumer's decision to buy a home is the attribute price.
