The concept of divinity has existed since humans existed in this world. This concept of divinity ... more The concept of divinity has existed since humans existed in this world. This concept of divinity has experienced various developments but still has the same direction, namely the Most Unseen or invisible Essence. The concepts of divinity that first emerged and have long been known are anismism and dynamism. This concept of divinity does seem simple because it corresponds to the quality of human thinking at that time, namely in primitive times. The existence or form of God is described by various types of supernatural or strange things that exist in this world.
In subsequent developments, humans began to recognize levels or hierarchies in their social and social structures. And, this condition is then applied to the conception or understanding of divinity which recognizes the existence of levels of position on the divine level. The concept of God underwent renewal into polytheism. God is understood to be not just a single person or a certain substance but to have a familial or social structure in accordance with that which exists in human society. And, this conception of divinity ultimately refers to henotheism which states that God has a government structure that leads to power in the highest and centralized deity. This conception of henotheism ultimately underwent another development which is called monotheism, namely that God is the Almighty or Single Substance.
