An adjustment of Mg content is made, from 1% to 2.5%, to ensure the composition range. The temperature range of semi-solid alloys can be obtained through the phase calculation on the alloys with T-cal, a kind of thermodynamic software. The accuracy of phase can be verified with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The chosen alloys are melted to be prepared for specimens, followed by mechanical testing. Finally, the optimal composition can be got according to mechanical properties, to be used for electromagnetic continuous casting, followed by the induction reheating and thixotropic semi-solid forming process. The law analyses were discussed during the induction reheating for Al-Si-Mg alloy and A356.

We used CFD numerical method to investigate the influence of width, height, outlet size and the angle of photovoltaic plate on the performance of PV channel based on the summer typical meteorological parameter. The PV-integrated double-skin façade were installed at east orientation in Shanghai. The recommended value of height and other factors were obtained. Height and the angle of photovoltaic plate were two most important factors which should be considered specially in the design of PV-integrated double-skin façade.

Voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSCs) play a vital role in the abnormal electrical activity of neurons in the globus pallidus (GP) and the subthalamic nucleus (STN) in PD. BmK I, a α-like toxin purified from the Chinese scorpion Buthus martensi Karsch, has been identified a site-3-specific modulator of VGSCs. The present study shows that forelimb akinesia can be induced by the injection of BmK I into the globus pallidus (GP) in rats. In addition, BmK I cannot produce neuronal damage in vivo and in vitro at 24h after treatment, indicating that the forelimb akinesia does not result from neuronal damage. Electrophysiological studies further revealed that the inactivated Na(+) currents were showed to be more vulnerably modulated by BmK I than the activated Na(+) currents in human neuron-lik...

Considering network-induced delay and packet loss, a new technique for adapting the sampling interval to network parameters is studied in terms of the Reorder Density, such that a closed-loop switched delay system is presented by constructing state feedback controller. Furthermore, a criterion for stochastic stability of WSAN s is derived based on the stochastic theory due to the subsystems subject to Markov chain. An adaptive controller is designed by solving linear matrix inequalities (LMI). An example is given to show the eff与ctiveness of the proposed method.

The billet with size of φ36*60 has the best formability in hot forging the spur gear shaft. The effects of the initial billet temperature and the friction coefficient on the hot forging formability of the spur gear shaft are obtained respectively through simulation. Hot forging experiments are carried out and experimental results show good agreement with those in simulation. At last, the reasonable hot forging parameters of the spur gear shaft for manufacturing engineering are suggested as follows: billet size of φ36*60, billet initial temperature of 1050°C and friction coefficient of 0.3.

However, the effects of prolonged habitual exercise on autophagy in cardiac muscle remain unknown. The present study aimed to examine whether long-term habitual exercise alters the basal autophagic signalling in cardiac muscle. Female Sprague-Dawley rats aged 2 months were randomly assigned to control and exercise groups. Animals in exercise group were kept in cages with free access exercise wheels to perform habitual exercise for 5 months. Animals in the control group were placed in cages without exercise wheels. Ventricular muscle tissues were harvested for analysis after 5 months. Phosphorylation statuses of upstream autophagic regulatory proteins and protein expressions of downstream autophagic facts remained unchanged in the cardiac muscle of exercise animals when compared to control animals. Intriguingly, the protein abundance of microtubule-associated protein-1 light chain -3 II (LC3-II), heat shock protein 72 (HSP72) and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma coactivator (PGC-1α) were significantly increased in cardiac muscle of exercise rats relative to control rats. 5 months of habitual exercise causes the adaptive increase in LC3-II reserve without altering autophagic flux, which probably contributes to the elevation of cellular autophagic capacity and efficiency of cardiac muscle.

Because of the existence of the pressure difference between pressure surfaces and the suction surfaces of the blade, the blending of the leakage flow with the mainstream causes losses, which affects internal flow field and overall performance of the compressor. In this article, numerical analysis software is used to study the multi-condition performance of a six and a half axial flow compressor, for analyzing the impact of leakage flow patterns on compressor.

Lactic acid was applied as modifier and the mixture of Ammonia and anhydrous alcohol as cross-linker. The influencing factors were analyzed via the orthogonal experiment L16(4,5). It was shown that the water absorption of the blend films was around 151%~608%. Tensile strength and elongation of the blend film samples reached about 11.3~20.7MPa and 10.8~20.2% respectively. The degradation rate declined obviously compared with the simple use of the SH. XRD and IR spectra indicated that crystallinity of the blend films was enhanced slightly after cross-linking. The blend films were co-cultured with bone mesenchymal stem cells. It was demonstrated that the films could support the growth of cells and were non-toxicity and good biocompatibility.

However, [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 has been reported to influence other cellular processes which are unrelated to GHSR-1a. This study aimed to examine the effects of [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 on autophagic and apoptotic cellular signalling in skeletal muscle. [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 enhanced the autophagic signalling demonstrated by the increases in protein abundances of beclin-1 and LC3 II-to-LC3 1 ratio in both normal muscle and doxorubicin-injured muscle. [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 reduced the activation of muscle apoptosis induced by doxorubicin. No histological abnormalities were observed in the [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6-treated muscle. Intriguingly, the doxorubicin-induced increase in centronucleated muscle fibres was not observed in muscle treated with [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6, suggesting the myoprotective effects of [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 against doxorubicin injury. The [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6-induced activation of autophagy was found to be abolished by the co-treatment of CXCR4 antagonist, suggesting that the pro-autophagic effects of [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 might be mediated through CXCR4. In conclusion, [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 exhibits proautophagic effects on skeletal muscle under both normal and doxorubicin-injured conditions.
