From the medicinal plants substances are extracted from the roots, stems, leaves and fruits and a... more From the medicinal plants substances are extracted from the roots, stems, leaves and fruits and are able to react with the metabolism of those who consume them. Thus, the objective of the research was to analyze the use and morphological diversity of plant fragments present in bottles sold in Itumbiara - GO, as well as to perform a systematic search in Scielo and Google Academic bases, collecting scientific evidence on the use of the properties of the fragments that compose them. The scientific articles showed that, in fact, the parts of the plants present in the bottles were associated with several uses; however, a great majority of the studies found reported ethnobotanical knowledge based on empirical knowledge not showing active principles in the treatment of pathologies.
