BAB IV KEWAJIBAN DAN LARANGAN BAGI WANITA HAIDL, NIFAS DAN ISTIHADLOH
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels bring out classical Marxism to distinguish between Marxism which is understood broadly and what is believed by Marx. While Marxism is a theory or application that is based on the interpretation over the works of Marx and Engels, classical Marxism emphasize the idea of rulling class that believes the idea of rulling class are in every epoch of rulling class ideas, when a dominant as the owner control the society both material and intellectual production.
One of the Indonesian films “Sang Penari” adopted from the novel “Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk” serves as the proof of society influenced by capitalism and classical Marxism. The community has been control by the bourgeoisie and experience suffered. The ordinary community that does not understand about education and politics is influenced by the follower of communism and killed as the result of domination of rulling class. Moreover, many researchers have determined this film to find out the feminism aspect of women trade and exploitation.
Elisa Linda Yulia, Ni Luh Nyoman Kebayantini and Wahyu Budi Nugroho (2016) had determined the feminism contains of the Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk Trilogy novel by Ahmad Tohari, to understand the position of Srintil character as subject, object, the author's viewpoint as well as the reader's viewpoint which based on the feminist discourse analysis method by Sara Mills. The results of discourse analysis on Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel show that Srintil placed as subject because of her superiority in economic, social, and psychological as well as successfully opposing the social order which restricting her expression of life, which rejecting all rules of “peronggengan” sphere. At her position as an object, shown Srintil while she was flirted, touched on her body, maligned, scorned, threatened by her status as an ex-prisoner, moreover she used as a tool or a doll to meet the demand of actors around her, either in material or satisfying the desires of men.
In other works, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, written in 1916, is an autobiography and the first novel of the great Irish writer, James Joyce. It is written in Modernist style and realistic style of literature contains of some category of realism, naturalism, and Marxism which aroused in mid-to late nineteenth century. Fatemeh Azizmohammadi and Sepide Kamarzade - English letter student in Islamic Azad University, Iran - had surveyed the main Protagonist in A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, and Ulysses, Stephen Dedalus, and its relationship to the author. They also explain the Marxism aspects exist in the novel.
In this research, we will focus on the way of the rulling class in the “Sang Penari” film control the Dukuh Paruk community both material and intellectual production in order to find out the portrait of classical Marxism phenomena as the result of the effort of eliminating the G30/S PKI idea of communism during at the end of government of president Sukarno towards president Suharto in 1960s. This elaborates the Marxist aspect to capitalism experienced by such community about what other thoughts and feelings to tend experience such phenomena and distinguishes the influence of base structure and superstructure force in this film.
