Aside from his well-known books, he has also written Kundiman, Mi Ultimo Adios, and a number of other creative works. However, his most significant accomplishment came after his death, when he became a national hero in the Philippines. Due to Dr. Jose Rizal's tremendous achievements and contributions to the country, Dr. Jose Rizal is one of the qualified individuals to be labelled as a national hero. However, over a period of time, the proof came to light that he had betrayed our country and had always been loyal to the government of Spain.
