This paper is divided into three parts. The first one deals with death and dying in perspective o... more This paper is divided into three parts. The first one deals with death and dying in perspective of contemporary historiography, with particular regards to the italian one. Death is an essential topic for European historians, because it is understood to be an experimental research subject. The specific field of interests, in fact, is not the death itself, but the living strategies of people of various historical periods and social classes. Another part of this article focuses on some important changes in the relationship between the quick and the dead which appeared during the 18th century. Death became a crucial issue of the 18th century medicine and since that time dying has stopped to be a strictly religious act any more. Another result of 18th century discussions has been that a new cultural phenomenon born: the cemetery. Some new commemorative strategies appeared focusing on a laical family and national memory. Cílem předkládané rozpravy je seznámit s tematikou zdánlivé smrti jako kulturotvorným fenoménem a... more Cílem předkládané rozpravy je seznámit s tematikou zdánlivé smrti jako kulturotvorným fenoménem a interdisciplinárním předmětem bádání na hranici mezi dějinami medicíny, historiografií a literárními dějinami. Text je členěn do tří oddílů. V první části shrnuje danou problematiku z hlediska její dosavadní historiografické reflexe, posléze nastiňuje zásadní vývojové mezníky v uvažování o zdánlivé smrti v raně novověké medicínské literatuře a v poslední části představuje strach z pohřbu zaživa jako kulturotvorný fenomén, konkrétně jako téma krásné literatury. Podle současných antropologů byl historiky dosud podceňován biologický rozměr smrti člověka. Na tuto skutečnost upozornil mimo jiné autor výše citovaných slov, italský kulturní antropolog Adriano Favole. V kontextu historie, biomedicíny a anatomie se zabýval vzorci chování, které byly a jsou uplatňovány v různých kulturách vůči mrtvému tělu. Questo articolo comprende tre distinte parti: la prima si occupa degli argomenti del morire e del... more Questo articolo comprende tre distinte parti: la prima si occupa degli argomenti del morire e della morte nella prospettiva della storiografia contemporanea, soprattutto italiana. La morte e uno dei temi essenziali per gli storici in quanto si rivela come uno spazio sperimentale della ricerca, il cui oggetto pero non e la morte stessa, ma piuttosto le strategie delle societa dei vivi in varie epoche e gruppi sociali. La seconda parte di questo articolo e dedicata all’analisi di alcuni forti cambiamenti nel rapporto tra l’uomo e la morte che si svolsero durante il Settecento. La morte divento allora un argomento cruciale nella medicina dell’epoca. Alla fine del secolo il morire non fu piu un atto eminentemente religioso. Disertacni prace Nemoci, smrt a pohřby v životnich strategiich Schwarzenbergů (1732? 1914) se zab... more Disertacni prace Nemoci, smrt a pohřby v životnich strategiich Schwarzenbergů (1732? 1914) se zabýva poslednimi nemocemi, smrti, pohřebnim ritualem a pohřebisti v životnich strategiich představitelů vysoke slechty v dlouhem casovem obdobi mezi barokni dobou a pocatkem 20. stoleti. Jako modelový přiklad byl vybran knižeci rod ze Schwarzenbergu. Uvodni cast rozpravy se věnuje dobovemu uceneckemu diskursu o smrti s důrazem na dějiny mediciny. Lidske umirani podlehalo zhruba od ctyřicatých let 18. stoleti stale vice procesu medikalizace, který vyustil v prosazeni reforem pohřebnictvi do praxe. Ty zcela nově definovaly vztah k umirajicimu a mrtvemu tělu a ovlivnily podobu pohřebniho ritualu a umistěni pohřebistě. Autor předkladane disertace nasledně konfrontoval svět dobových norem se ?schwarzenberskou zkusenosti? se smrti. Na zakladě studia pramenů z rodinných archivů schwarzenberske primogenitury a sekundogenitury se pokusil vytvořit obraz o umirani, smrti a pohřbech v prostředi vysoke...
