Very often children worsen their body posture in school-age because of weak musculature and bad studying position. THE PURPOSE of the study is to apply an experimental model of body corpus muscle stability in physical education and sports classes and to compare the strength performance indicators of those muscles before and after the experiment. METHODS: The contingent of the study represents 21 students on average age 12.4 years. Data of anthropometric indicators, static and dynamic strength indicators of body corpus muscles and degree of mobility of the spine were collected during the experiment. All data were processed and statistically analyzed. RESULTS: The analysis of the results shows that the implementation of the experimental model of exercises significantly improves the static and dynamic muscular strength of body corpus muscles and does not increase the flexibility of the spine. CONCLUSIONS:...

The most common medical problems for pupils are spinal deformities. Our focus was on correcting different types of spinal deformities through an adapted swimming methodology. This paper discusses the use of specific swimming exercises to improve the aerobic capacity and spinal flexibility in order to acquire good body posture and to prevent further deformities. The contingent of the study were 21 boys and 19 girls, ages 7 - 10, with a medical diagnosis of spinal deformities, which were included in experimental and control groups, doing adapted swimming exercises from our experimental methodology and routine swimming exercises. The research methods were functional tests for assessing the aerobic capacity – spirometry, Hirz in inhale and exhale and spinal flexibility tests – bending left, right, and forwards. They were conducted in March and September 2020. Descriptive statistics, hypothesis te...

As its main elements, the health education and health culture of the population are essential. Medical specialists bear almost little responsibility for their development and quality. Educators, the school as an institution, the family and society have a key role to play in this regard. In Bulgaria, health education is not present as an independent subject at school. It is embedded in various classroom and extracurricular forms of education. The purpose of this study is to establish the level of health knowledge among 14–19-year-old Bulgarian students achieved through the education system, family and social environment. It also explores the possibilities for enhancing the health competence of high school students.

Information on injuries was collected through a questionnaire from 48 members of students female volleyball teams participants in National Summer Universiade 2018 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The average age of the players is 22.7 years. A total of 91.7% of volleyball players sustained injuries. Lower limb injuries were found to be predominant, the ankle and knee being the most commonly injured anatomical location. Most injuries involved soft tissue and related to the muscle and tendon. The results of the research provide a useful insight into the nature, incidence and sites of injuries in varsity level volleyball players.Purpose of the research is to study the frequency and type of injuries in female student volleyball players and their awareness of prevention, behavior and treatment ...

They were conducted in March and September 2020. Descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and correlation analysis were used for data analysis. The research results revealed that the pupils improved their chest mobility, pulmonary function, aerobic capacity, and spine flexibility. Statistically significant differences appeared between the groups in favor of the experimental methodology. The adapted swimming exercises should be used in future practice.

The aim of the study is to determine the current state of sports injuries in student sports. To realize the goal are placed the following tasks: to conduct a survey with students athletes on sports injuries; to process and analyze the results of the survey; to draw concrete conclusions from the survey; to make recommendations for practice. In order to achieve the above research purposes are applied theoretical analysis, questionnaire method, alternative analysis and graphic analysis. The survey is conducted in 2017. The questionnaire includes nineteen basic questions, some of them are open. The students-athletes have the opportunity to indicate more than one answer for some questions. Results: registered are existing injuries related to sports and it is found that some of the methods and means of treatment and prevention are not wellknown to students-athletes. The survey results make it necessary to seek and implement academic practice methods and tools to facilitate the recognition of sports injuries and upgrading of skills for the protection of their own health.

The stiffness of the elbow joint is an issue of social significance, because it has a particularly large effect on the capability of performing basic everyday actions, and various labor and household activities. This document aims at presenting the anatomical specificities of the elbow joint – the reason for its high reactivity, to summarize the reasons and pathogenic factors of the elbow stiffness. The detailed knowledge of the changes occurring in the tissues after various pathological processes, their pathogenesis and appropriate share in each specific case of elbow stiffness, is of great significance for the treatment and dealing with this condition.
