In simulators, the computer network is typically modeled with devices; traffic etc. and the performance are analyzed. Typically, users can then customize the simulator to fulfill their specific analysis needs. This paper gives analysis and comparison study of different wireless network simulators. Simulators in consideration are Glomosim/Qualnet, Omnet++, Ns-2, Opnet, and J-Sim. The information about each of the simulator abilities, their internal structure advantages and disadvantages has been discussed in this paper. This paper analyses situations wherein simulators can be used for their best need. Finally, the paper contains analysis, comparison study and conclusion about making the suitable choice of network simulator based on the researchers needs.

Now a day’s large amount of data transmission takes place every day that leads to congestion. To increase capacity of the network is not a solution. One solution for the successful data transmission can be based on the current available capacity of the network. This paper explains two algorithms which ensure that, the available queue length of all the nodes are known to each other. So based on the availability of queue space the data transmission can be done. RTT (Round Trip Time) plays a major role in understanding the current congestion status of the network. RTT helps the proposed algorithm to understand the network status and then to forward the queue length availability to all other nodes in the network. The aim of this paper is that, the queue lengths of all the nodes are known to all other nodes. The data transmission is done only when the destination node and the intermediate node have enough queue length.

Starting from the queue at the coupon counter to the serving counter a lot of time is spent waiting due to which the students and faculty get late for their lectures. Both students and faculty, often wish to have a way to considerably reduce or get rid of this waiting time. One solution to this problem is to have a system by which once the order gets placed it is directly displayed on a monitor in the kitchen. This would avoid the time wasted at the serving counter when a server takes time to deliver previous orders before taking a new coupon and placing it in the kitchen. Also one can have a facility for placing orders in advance so that his/her order is kept ready just for the particular time he/she chooses. The time spent over tendering change can also be reduced by facilitating payments via e-wallet.

In this paper we have analyzed the performance of different VoIP codecs over the best effort service flow for WiMAX network. The parameters considered for the evaluation of network are throughput, average delay & jitter. The simulation is done using network simulator 2 (NS2) by varying number of nodes and results are presented in graphical form.

The cloud-computing model is transferring the computing infrastructure to third-party service providers that manage the hardware and software resources with important cost reductions. It is emerging as a new computing example in the medical field apart from other business domains. Wide number of health firms has started shifting electronic health information to the cloud environment. Initiating cloud services in health sector will not only simplify the exchange of electronic medical records between the hospitals and clinics, but also enables the cloud to act as a medical record storage center. Besides, moving to cloud environment eases the healthcare organizations from the monotonous tasks of infrastructure management and also reduces development and maintenance costs. The medical data stored in cloud makes the treatment systematic by retrieving patient's medical history from the database before going for the treatment and get to know about the health issues of the patient.
