Pengkajian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi inovasi teknologi pertanian yang telah diterapkan di lokasi studi, dan menganalisis hubungannya dengan kondisi ketahanan pangan pada rumah tangga petani. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis inovasi teknologi pertanian dan penerapannya berbasis sistem usaha pertanian inovatif dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan. The agricultural sector is the last sector that can withstand any shock. The study aimed to determine the perception of intercropping implementation and farming analysis to increase cropping index in Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province. This study was carried out in the Kwagen village, Bodeh Sub-District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province with thirty respondents. Primary data were collected then analyzed for each indicator. Data were simply analyzed based on the percentage of answers on the indicators. Meanwhile, secondary data were analyzed qualitatively using the Desk Research Method. The results showed that there were 63.3% farmers understood and applied intercropping technology (Turiman), 13% farmers understood but did not implement Turiman, and 20% farmers did not know and did not implement Turiman. Quality of mangosteen fruit has been kept until now, even increased by efforts of post-harvest handling. The problem on postharvest of mangosteen is mainly on storage process. The quality of mangosteen is affected by the temperature condition during storage period. Waxing is usually used for fruits to extend their shelf life. In this study, combination of waxing and low temperature storage were studied to obtain the optimum storage condition for mangosteen. The objectives of this study were to determine the effect of combination of waxing and low temperature storage on the quality changes of mangosteen. It was shown that storage of mangosteen with waxing treatment of 5% and temperature storage of 8oC resulted the longest period of storage, i.e., 39 days. Tujuan pengkajian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik petani, menganalisis hubungan karakteristik... more Tujuan pengkajian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik petani, menganalisis hubungan karakteristik petani dengan usaha tani padi dan pengalaman usahatani dengan usahatani padi di Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Data primer didapat melalui kuisioner yang diisi oleh 22 petani padi contoh, data yang terkumpul ditabulasi dan dianalisis berdasarkan masing-masing indikator. Pengumpulan data usaha tani dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pendampingan. Analisis data dilakukan secara sederhana berdasarkan persentase pendapat responden terhadap indikator yang telah ditetapkan, serta dilengkapi dengan data sekunder yang dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan Metoda Desk Research.
