Fluoropolymers have gained wide attention in the field of energy applications due to their versatile properties. The incorporation of nanofillers within the fluoropolymer to develop the nanohybrid results in an enhancement in the properties, like thermal, mechanical, gas permeation, different fuel cross-over phenomena through the membrane, hydrophilic/ hydrophobic nature, ion transport, and piezo-electric properties for fabricating energy devices. The properties of nanohybrid materials/membranes are influenced by several factors, such as type of filler, their size, amount of filler, level of dispersion, surface acidity, shape, and formation of networking within the polymer matrix. Fluoropolymerbased nanohybrids have replaced several commercial materials due to their chemical inertness, better efficacy, and durability. The addition of certain electroactive fillers in the polymer matrix enhances the polar phase, which enhances the applicability of the hybrid for fuel cell and energy-harvesting applications. Poly(vinylidene fluoride) is one of the remarkable fluoropolymers in the field of energy applications such as fuel cell and piezoelectric energy harvesting. In the present review, a detailed discussion of the different kinds of nanofillers and their role in energy harvesting and fuel cell electrolyte membranes is projected.

The output of the DC-DC converter is fed to the three-phase voltage source inverter (VSI) to drive the motor. During the motoring mode buck operation through the bi-directional converter of the battery takes place and during regenerative mode, the mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy and is stored in the same chargeable battery through the boost operation. As the electric vehicle operates with frequent start/stop, the scheme proposes recovery of energy for every stopping operation through regenerative braking. Also when the electric vehicle (EV) is going on a downhill, the controlled speed on downhill provides energy return to the battery. MATLAB/Simulink software is used to verify the above operations.

DVR and UPQC are widely adopted custom devices that are reported aimed at of voltage sag mitigation. Utility side faults are one of the main causes of voltage sag. The designed UPQC and DVR systems help in obtaining regulated and balanced output voltages with reduced harmonics across the load terminals. Also, they suppress the source harmonics generated by the loads. The Matlab simulation model is presented for both the types of controllers using synchronous reference frame. Their performances have been analyzed under 3-phase fault condition and the results are compared to assess the improvement achieved in power quality by DVR and UPQC devices.

Study shows that, sleep disorder become a crucial problem day by day due to work pressure and other different causes. This continuous lack of sleep or uneven sleep pattern can cause to develop different major health issues in humans. These sleep patterns are difficult to detect, analyze, and experience as they exhibit at the time when people are in their deep sleep phase. This research work is focused on studying, methods for analyzing and identifying different sleep patterns based on EEG patterns. Every stage of sleep shows a different electroencephalogram pattern. These EEG patterns show that sleep can be observed as a combination of different cyclic sleep stages. This work shows different sleep stage patterns analysis found in different sleep disorders. Based on these patterns, monitoring of quality sleep can be performed. In this paper, authors have discussed 10-20 electrodes systems to capture brain signals, electroencephalogram signals, and its categorization. This study also represent the detailed description of several methods identified for monitoring sleep behavioural patterns in order to understand the experimental basis and forming a strong theoretical background towards analyzing these EEG signals.

The spectrum bands are usually licensed to certain services, such as mobile, fixed, broadcast, and satellite, to avoid harmful interference between different networks. Most spectrum bands are allocated to certain services but worldwide spectrum occupancy measurements show that only portions of the spectrum band are fully occupied. Moreover, there is large temporal and spatial variations in the spectrum occupancy. In the development of future wireless systems the spectrum utilization functionalities will play an important role due to the scarcity of unallocated spectrum. Also the trend in wireless communication systems is going from fully centralized systems into the direction of self-organizing systems where individual nodes can instantaneously establish ad hoc networks whose structure is changing over time. Cognitive radios, with the capabilities to sense the operating enviro...

For creating an alternate arrangement of pictures proposed work utilize tumultuous capacity where an alternate arrangement of muddling is feasible for a similar picture. In this study, we share our experience of intra aneurysmal double microcatheter technique to treat complex intracranial wide-neck aneurysms with unusual shapes. Materials and Methods: Ten patients with wide-neck intracranial aneurysms were treated using the endovascular method of the double microcatheter between December 2013 to September 2014. All patients had presented with acute subarachnoid hemorrhage on plain CT brain. Detailed demographic information and aneurysm morphology by DSA were noted. Aneurysms were coiled using a double microcatheter technique. Follow up done up to 1 year. Result: All aneurysms were completely embolised using a double microcatheter technique. DSA has done immediately post embolization showed class I filling in 9 patients and class II filling in 1 patient using the Raymond-Roy Classification system. The mean neck diameter was2.91 mm (range 2 to 4 mm) and the mean dome of neck ratio was 1.34 (range 0.89 to 2.14). All these patients were relatively in good grade before the procedure, an improvement was noted during the one year of follow-up. Conclusion: In our series, this modified intra aneurysmal double catheter technique is safe, effective, not costly, and not technically demanding.
