A new delay-product-type augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed. Based on the LKF and by employing a generalized free-matrix-based integral inequality, less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained. Finally, two well-known numerical examples are used to confirm the effectiveness and the superiority of the presented stability criteria.

For achieving the specified goal, the integral term of classical Proportional-Integral (PI) controller is replaced by an integral of the discontinuous function. Replacing this integrator, the overall control becomes absolutely continuous rather than discontinuous as in the first order sliding mode control. With this proposed scheme, the property of invariance concerning the matched Lipschitz uncertainty is still preserved. The main technical contribution of the paper is a sound and non-trivial Lyapunov analysis of the closed loop system controlled by nonsmooth PI controller. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is illustrated with the help of numerical simulation on the magnetic suspension system.
A [K, KL] Sector-Based Hands-Off Control With Quantization Parameter Mismatch

The quantization parameters generated at the coder and decoder sides of the communication channel are mismatched and a time-varying ratio is modeled to show the non-synchronous adjustment of the quantization parameters. By the means of $[\mathcal {K,KL}]$ sector, the state-space is roughly divided into an attractive and non-attractive regions and a controller based on On-Off logic is utilized to remove the model uncertainties caused by the mismatch of the quantization parameters with limited control effort. Finally, the illustration of the proposed scheme is verified for an electronic circuit.
Artificial Delayed Output Twisting Algorithm

This algorithm ensures practical asymptotic convergence to the origin based on the information of output and its artificially delayed version. We prove the convergence of the proposed algorithm by a continuous, weighted homogeneous and strict Lyapunov function.
