This work aims to recognize the research done about the theme Modeling in Science - SC and Scient... more This work aims to recognize the research done about the theme Modeling in Science - SC and Scientific Literacy - SC in the early years, as well as to understand how practices of Modeling in Science contribute to the development of SC in the early years of Basic Education. To contribute to our study, we conducted a qualitative bibliographic research and searched the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations made available by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) for research in the form of theses and dissertations. We selected 13 studies for analysis in the period from 2010 to 2020. The researches are analyzed through the procedures of Content Analysis, which allowed to highlight the word "model" linked to the notion of representation and "modeling" as a means to qualify the processes of teaching and learning. Este estudo discute aspectos relacionados ao planejamento do professor dos Anos Iniciais, entendi... more Este estudo discute aspectos relacionados ao planejamento do professor dos Anos Iniciais, entendido como um elemento do trabalho docente e organizador da ação educativa. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, cujo objetivo consistiu em compreender o que, na perspectiva de um grupo de professoras, é levado em consideração na elaboração do planejamento com vistas ao ensino de Ciências à luz do desenvolvimento da Alfabetização Científica-AC. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram três professoras dos Anos Iniciais de uma escola da rede municipal de ensino, localizada na região noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul-RS. A constituição dos dados se deu por meio da realização de entrevista semiestruturada e a análise seguiu os procedimentos da Análise de Conteúdo, a qual permitiu reconhecer a Base Nacional Comum Curricular como elemento fundamental para o planejamento. Além disso, o planejamento das professoras contempla o estabelecimento de uma rotina na sala de aula a qual valoriza o diálogo, os conhecimentos iniciais dos alunos e o contexto no qual eles estão inseridos, bem como a realização de atividades práticas e do estabelecimento de relações interdisciplinares, as quais podem conter elementos do desenvolvimento da AC.

Ante a violacao dos mais elementares direitos humanos que atenta contra a dignidade humana, desve... more Ante a violacao dos mais elementares direitos humanos que atenta contra a dignidade humana, desvenda-se o grave problema social do trabalho infanto juvenil no âmbito nacional, caracterizado pela exploracao laboral de forma degradante e desumana de milhares de seres humanos em desenvolvimento, de modo a lhes afetar no acesso e permanencia nos bancos escolares. O surgimento do Programa governamental brasileiro denominado Bolsa Familia contribuiu para a erradicacao de tal situacao e tem fomentado a continuidade dos estudos formais deste publico. Para a elaboracao deste trabalho a metodologia adotada foi a dedutiva e o metodo de procedimento foi o historico, se utilizando para a coleta de dados, documentacao indireta, por meio de pesquisa a livros, artigos de periodicos, revistas juridicas, dentre outros.

Nu... more Introduction Poor diet habits and inadequate intake of nutrients are a concern in the elderly. Nutritional education with guidance may improve the results of the treatment of vertigo. Objective Evaluate the presence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) associated with feeding habits. Methods Cross-sectional study with elderly people living independently. We evaluated nutritional habits through the method of dietary 24-hour recall and manipulation of Dix-Hallpike. Results Based on a sample of 487 individuals, 117 had BPPV. Among the 117 elderly patients with BPPV, 37 (31.62%) had inadequate feeding. From those 370 individuals without BPPV, 97 (26.21%) had inappropriate feeding. No significant association between nutritional habits and BPPV in the total population was observed (p ¼ 0.3064). However, there was significant relation between BPPV and inadequate carbohydrate intake (p ¼ 0.0419) and insufficient fiber intake (p ¼ 0.03), and the diet of these subjects was rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (p ¼ 0.0084). Conclusion These data correlate with the dyslipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia status, making it extremely important to reduce the intake of fats and carbohydrates and increase the fiber intake to stabilize triglycerides and thus minimize harmful effects on the inner ear. Food readjustment is suggested in patients with BPPV, along with the work of a multidisciplinary team to improve the quality of the elderly.

Introduction: Tinnitus is a subjective sensation of hearing a sound in the absence of an external... more Introduction: Tinnitus is a subjective sensation of hearing a sound in the absence of an external stimulus, which significantly worsens the quality of life in 15-25% of affected individuals. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy for tinnitus. Methods: Randomized clinical trial (REBEC: 2T9T7Q) with 50 participants with tinnitus, divided into two groups: 25 participants in the acupuncture group and 25 participants in the control group. The acupuncture group received acupuncture treatment and the control group received no treatment. After a period of 5 weeks, they were called to perform the final evaluation and the control group received acupuncture treatment for ethical reasons. Results: A statistically significant result was found for the primary outcome, reducing the intensity of tinnitus, with p = 0.0001 and the secondary endpoint, showing improvement in quality of life, with p = 0.0001. Conclusion: Chinese scalp acupuncture associated with bilateral electroacupuncture demonstrated, in the short term, a statistically significant improvement by reducing the level of tinnitus intensity, as well as improving the quality of life of individuals with tinnitus.
