N. Sandeep (S’14) was born in Bengaluru, India,in 1991. He received the diploma and the B.E. degreein electrical and electronics engineering fromthe Sri Jayachamarajendra (Government) Polytechnicand B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru,and the M.Tech. degree in power electronics anddrives from the Visvesvaraya National Institute ofTechnology Nagpur, Nagpur, India, in 2009, 2012,and 2014, respectively. He is currently working towardthe Ph.D. degree in investigation of novel multilevelinverter topologies with the Department of Electricaland Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka,Surathkal, Mangaluru, India.His research interests include multilevel power converters and grid-connectedphotovoltaics.Mr. Sandeep received the Best Poster Presentation Award for his paper atthe 18th IEEE National Power Systems Conference 2014, Indian Institute ofTechnology Guwahati, Guwahati, India.
