RESUMO O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a evolução da estrutura produtiva dos setores alimentar... more RESUMO O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a evolução da estrutura produtiva dos setores alimentares no sistema inter-regional Paraná-Restante do Brasil (Brasil exceto Paraná) nos anos de 1980, 1990 e 2000, usando matrizes insumo-produto. Os principais resultados indicaram que: a) a indústria alimentar de ambas as regiões tornou-se menos dependente de setores tradicionais e mais dominada pelos setores modernos enquanto propagadores de seu crescimento; b) o Restante do Brasil apresentou estrutura produtiva menos dependente das indústrias alimentares comparativamente à economia paranaense em razão de sua maior maturidade, diversificação e complexidade; e c) o Paraná mostrou-se mais dependente da indústria alimentar do Restante do Brasil, apresentando efeito transbordamento médio superior à média deste, evidenciando que o comércio entre as duas regiões é de maior importância para o Estado do Paraná. Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo estimar e analisar o nível das interações sinérgicas ... more Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo estimar e analisar o nível das interações sinérgicas e o transbordamento do efeito multiplicador da produção setorial entre o Paraná e o chamado "Restante do Brasil" (Brasil exceto Paraná), utilizando sistemas inter-regionais de insumoproduto estimados para os anos de 1995 e 2000. Os principais resultados mostraram que: a) a dependência da produção do Paraná em relação ao fluxo de comércio com o Restante do Brasil se elevou de 25% em 1995 para 33% em 2000; b) somente 1,36% da produção do Restante do Brasil dependeu do fluxo de insumos (bens e serviços) entre este e o Paraná em 1995, reduzindo esta dependência para 0,56% em 2000; c) a média do transbordamento do efeito multiplicador da produção dos setores da economia paranaense no sentido Restante do Brasil aumentou de 16% em 1995 para 20% em 2000, enquanto no sentido Restante do Brasil-Paraná, se manteve em 1%. The goal of this article is to measure the level of synergic interactions produced by the flow of... more The goal of this article is to measure the level of synergic interactions produced by the flow of goods and services, the multiplier effect of production and the overflowing to the economic sectors of Paraná and the rest of Brazil, with especial attention to the automobile industry. The data base was the input-output interregional system Parana-rest of Brazil (Brazil except Parana) estimated for 2000. The results showed that the average of overflowing of the multiplier effect of production in the direction Parana-rest of Brazil was approximately 20%, while in the direction rest of Brazil-Parana it was less then 1%. The biggest percentages of overflowing of production were found for the sectors Siderurgy and Metallurgy (44%), Textiles (33%), Clothing, Footwear, Leather and Skins (33%), Electrical/Electronic Material (33%) and the Automobile Industry (31%). The present article aims at measuring the GDP of the Building Industry macro- sector. It also pre... more The present article aims at measuring the GDP of the Building Industry macro- sector. It also presents the calculation of pure linkage indexes and estimates of direct, indirect, and induced job multipliers using the 2004 Brazilian input-product matrix database. Results show that the GDP of the Construction Industry macro- sector is equivalent to 7.59% of the Brazilian economy, and generated 15.2 million jobs in 2004. The pure linkage indexes classification assigned the sixth place to the Construction Industry activity, indication that it is a key-sector in the Brazilian Economy.
