This study aims to implement learning innovations to improve teacher competence in teacher certification programs for in-service teachers through collaboration with local governments. The study was conducted with the involvement of 2,477 teachers who are actively teaching in schools across North Sumatera, Indonesia. Learning innovation was done through the provision of innovative teaching materials and learning scenario settings. Innovative teaching materials in the field of study and pedagogy are systematically developed to increase knowledge and are compatible with blended learning. The blended learning is set as a combination of online learning, workshops, and teaching practices to equip the teachers with new knowledge and skills. The teaching materials developed have proven to be very effective in facilitating teachers to learn actively and in the end increase their knowledge and skills as professional teachers.
This study aims to 1) map the suitability of office staff competencies with their educational bac... more This study aims to 1) map the suitability of office staff competencies with their educational backgrounds; 2) map the workload of office staff to their income; 3) mapping the suitability of the office staff's income and their daily needs; and map the lives of commuter office staff at the Universitas Negeri Medan. This study was conducted by survey method and descriptive statistics. Samples were taken at random from the population who were office staff at the administrative headquarters. Of the 100 instruments distributed, 52 returned. The results of the analysis indicate that there is still potential for staff development, especially in the field of competency certification. on the other hand there are opportunities for the development of welfare regulations. The results of this study will be useful for analyzing the suitability of the teaching staff and work units, analyzing the needs of office staff development, and developing management strategies and office staff development.

The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile-based learning model in higher education. This study refers to the design of ADDIE development which includes five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the test results, the product is declared valid, and an effective and efficient learning model is obtained. Based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis, the appropriate learning model in higher education is through a combination of learning in class, and online learning assisted mobile. Mobile learning can be a complement to the lecture material given in class. Thus, mobile learning can function as a remedial and enrichment.

The moderating role of supply chain education (SCE) was also examined. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between work activities, knowledge sharing, SCE and sustainable social well-being. Population of the study is the garment companies of Indonesia. Employees of these companies were selected as the respondents. Consequently, data collection was performed among the garment companies of Indonesia. For the purpose of data collection, questionnaire was distribution among the garment company employees. Data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS). Results of the study highlighted that work activities have positive effect on sustainable social well-being. Knowledge sharing also shows the positive effect on sustainable social well-being. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil perilaku lingkungan hidup siswa SMA Negeri Kota ... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil perilaku lingkungan hidup siswa SMA Negeri Kota Medan ditinjau dari (1) kemampuan kognitif siswa terhadap lingkungan hidup, (2) kemampuan afektif siswa terhadap lingkungan hidup, (3) kemampuan psikomotor siswa terhadap lingkungan hidup. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri Kota Medan Kelas XI dengan sampel ditentukan berdasarkan letak sekolah dari pusat, tengah, pinggir kota, maka dipilih SMAN 1, SMAN 10, SMAN 4, SMAN 5, SMAN 17, dan SMAN 21 yang diambil masing-masing satu kelas secara acak. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes terstruktur yang diberi pembobotan berskala 5 dan dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan Rumus Sturgess.
