This article aims to analyze how the role of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in resolving disp... more This article aims to analyze how the role of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in resolving disputes over the termination of Indonesia's nickel exports to the European Union. Nickel has long been known as Indonesia's strategic commodity. After the establishment of the Asosiasi Penambang Nikel Indonesia (APNI) in 1901 nickel began to be managed for export activities. However, the Indonesian government through the policy of President Joko Widodo stopped exporting low-grade nickel with a value of 1.7% to European Union countries. Therefore, the European Union also reports the policy of stopping exports to its country to the WTO free trade regime which has the right to regulate. Other countries did not respond like the European Union because Indonesian nickel is very important for the European Union. The research method used is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. In collecting data, the author team used literature studies in the form of books, online journals, and online articles that are relevant to the research topic. The findings of this study are that the settlement of disputes over the termination of Indonesia's nickel exports to the European Union is at the consultation stage at the WTO. The European Union has actually not accepted nickel exports from Indonesia for a long time and the European Union reporting action was actually carried out because the stainless steel and automotive industries that use nickel experienced a decline in interest, due to losing competitiveness with the Tiongkok state industry.

This paper aims to analyze counter-terrorism efforts carried out by the Nigerian government inter... more This paper aims to analyze counter-terrorism efforts carried out by the Nigerian government internally and externally in dealing with the actions of the Boko Haram terrorist group which caused losses, fear and anxiety for the citizens of Nigeria and the government of Nigeria. The Boko Haram terrorist group can thrive to this day in Nigeria due to several factors including an unstable government, ideological differences, and social and economic inequalities. In this case, the author uses the theory of counter-terrorism which explains that the handling of acts of terrorism in a country can be carried out in three ways, namely prevention, protection and response through Nigeria's internal and external efforts. The research method used a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. In collecting data, the author used a literature study to find and browse information from literature books, research journals and from news websites related to the research problems discussed. The finding of this study indicates that the efforts made by the Nigerian government internally and externally through counter-terrorism in dealing with the Boko Haram terrorist group to date have their respective strengths and weaknesses. And these two efforts must be carried out in a balanced way in order to effectively eradicate the terrorist acts of Boko Haram.

This paper aims to explain how the influence of the Gaddafi regime's failure on the escalation of... more This paper aims to explain how the influence of the Gaddafi regime's failure on the escalation of conflict and global intervention. The failure experienced by the Gaddafi regime resulted in a civil war in fighting over the Libyan region which was supported by acts of rebellion from various strongholds of community alliances. Through a qualitative approach, this paper will use the principle agent theory, peacekeeping, and domino theory as a conceptual framework in describing phenomena. Data sources in this paper were obtained from literature studies in the form of literature from journals, research reports, and reliable online news to support the analysis. The results of this study show that the continuation of the Libyan conflict escalation occurred after the rise of the Melati Revolution and the Arab Spring in Libya which led to the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime which actually resulted in the formation of a war between West Libya and East Libya along with the presence of the NTC, GNC and the global intervention of the United States / NATO, the United Nations take part in mitigating the conflict to date. The escalation of the conflict that occurred not only covered the seizure of the territory but also covered all aspects of Libyan people's lives that triggered chaos, rebellion, a feeling of injustice, fear and could cause the Libyan state to step down.
