Investigation of mutual local coordination of atoms has been performed. The results are presented for various ways of combining structural units to provide medium and long-range chemical order of chalcogenide glasses. It appears that for the Ge-As-Se system the structural transition from a two-dimensional to three-dimensional structure occurs at r = 2.45.
High incidence of disease coronary in Poland and in the world means a high risk of heart infarct ... more High incidence of disease coronary in Poland and in the world means a high risk of heart infarct and sudden death. To meet the need for fast, non-invasive and cheap diagnostic method a new technique of electric tomography of the cardiac muscle has been proposed. The technique is based on the numerical enhancement of the ECG signals recorded in particular layers, i.e. in subsequent intercostals space while the cardiac muscle is treated as aloss dielectric , in which the generated dipoles are calculated and localised.

ESR spectra, thermal analysis, and thermoluminescence data were analysed to obtain a consistent picture of the calcite properties. The ESR spectra were analysed using computer enhanced resolution spectra and an influence of the thermal annealing on intensity of individual ESR lines was measured. These results together with the effects of γ-irradiation in ESR spectra allowed one to discriminate between ESR lines from various paramagnetic centres. A general conclusion of the paper is that in the ESR dating the outer ESR lines of CO − 3 (g = 2.0125) and CO − 2 (g = 1.9980) radicals should be used instead of the commonly used multicomponent central line.

Standardized electric activities of the ventricles and septum in healthy people are given. Electric activities of particular fragments of the cardiac muscle were measured by the HRVEC method for a group

ESR and ENDOR spectra were obtained at 100 K. The free radicals stable at room temperature are formally formed by abstraction of a hydrogen atom from the methyl group of the molecule. The unpaired electron is delocalized in the isoxazole ring. The assignment is supported by comparisons of spin densities obtained experimentally and by semiempirical molecular orbital calculations

ESR evidence establishes that 1,3,5-trithiane as well as ..cap alpha..- and ..beta..- 2,4,6-trimethyl-1,3,5-trithiane yield radicals mainly by loss of the hydrogen atom, whereas ..cap alpha..- and ..beta..-2,4,6-triphenyl-1,3,5-trithiane and 2,4,6-trimethyl-2,4,6-triphenyl-1,3,5-trithiane produce radicals that are parent radical cations, which are also present in small amounts

At 68 K, two A- and B-types of radicals were detected. The A-type radical was identified as the one formed by attachment of an electron to the O3 oxygen atom. The B-type was probably formed on the aliphatic part of the molecule. Upon heating in the temperatures ranging from 90–100 K both types of radicals undergo a conversion. The radical A converts into neutral one and becomes like a radical formed in single crystal of cholest-4-en-3-one. Explanation of the radical B conversion would need more research. From ESR and ENDOR data collected for three planes of single
