Here, we investigate how T cells arrive at these states during an immune response. In order to understand the metabolic state of rare, early activated T cells, we adapted mass cytometry to quantify metabolic regulators at single-cell resolution in parallel with cell signaling, proliferation, and effector function. We interrogated CD8 T cell activation in vitro as well as the trajectory of CD8 T cells responding to Listeria monocytogenes infection, a well-characterized in vivo model for studies of T cell differentiation. This approach revealed a unique metabolic state in early activated T cells characterized by maximal expression of glycolytic and oxidative metabolic proteins. Peak utilization of both pathways was confirmed by extracellular flux analysis. Metodologia: Se realizo un estudio descriptivo transversal para evaluar el grado de depresion en la division de Salud de la Universidad del Valle de Mexico, utilizando la escala de depresion de Beck. Resultados. Los resultados muestran una alta prevalencia de depresion. Conclusion: Es importante que las escuelas tomen en cuenta los estados de animo de los estudiantes y tomen acciones para controlarlos
Crisis can be present at any time of our lives and it should not always be considered as somethin... more Crisis can be present at any time of our lives and it should not always be considered as something negative; because although it constitutes a danger, it can also turn into an opportunity. The first psychological aids constitute an effective method of prevention and immediate help towards the person who is involved in a crisis, with the purpose of helping him or her to recover the balance. The present research pretends to study the knowledge that teachers about first psychological aids; identifying and describing their knowledge and application. The fieldwork was done with teachers of the urban colleges of Cuenca, through a survey applied to a sample of 358 teachers from a universe of 1746 teachers in 29 public and fiscomisional school with by presencial modality ; finding as findings that:: 81 % of teacher have, at some point, faced a crisis situation with their students, nevertheless, only 2 % of them know what the FPA and, less than 50 % teachers answered in correctly to basic concepts about the application of the FPA; concluding that teachers apply FPA based on their experiences and not in proper theoretical base.
