Pau Alarcón

I am currently an Adjunct Professor at the Political and Social Sciences Department. Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). I also work developing research and reports for different public administrations and other institutions. Previously, I was awarded a predoctoral scholarship from the MICINN and was a research assistant at the IESA-CSIC. I have also been a visiting researcher at the University of Sydney, the University of Westminster, and the University of Montréal.
I obtained a PhD in public policies (UAB). I hold a Degree in Sociology (UCM), a Degree in Statistics (UMH) and a Master in Latin American studies (UCM). My research interests include local participation processes, political attitudes, ageing and participation, and public policies.
