The phenomenon of unlocking the secrets of the brain and therefore understanding its fundamental areas of function represents one of the greatest challenges of our time. According to most neural network researchers, the objective of AI is to seek an understanding of nature's capabilities for which the human race can engineer solutions to problems that cannot be solved by traditional computing. This paper looks at the biological human brain as the inspiration behind AI.

The principle influences to these values, were the acceptable behavioral patterns or ideals held by one group (or individual), arising from opinion, philosophy, spirituality, conjecture and other dogmata. These ideals or patterns of behavior are now collectively referred to as ethics. The ethical values which existed in archaic times were generally confined in scope to the communities from which they sprang. Among others, these communities had experts and master craftsmen (professionals) who grew values that brought dignity to them and their trades in the eyes of their people, who were direct beneficiaries of their services and goods, designed for their community's welfare. This later culminated into the idea of standard practice in goods and service delivery within the localized populations, though with peculiar distinctions. The guaranteed continuity to subsequent generations with regard the use of these values (and skills of the professionals) was ensured through apprenticeship. As the communities of one people expanded into the zone of another (due to i.e. enhanced communication and travel, etc), their culture (or ethical stance) was certain to be loathed by the other, owing to huge differences in behavior. It was therefore expedient to introduce systems (of collective ethics) that transcended culture, language, geographical boundaries, etc; to replace those that only pertained to particular communities of the world. In order to be universally adopted, these systems or patterns of behavior (ethics) would have had to transcend localized communal barriers, and be able to embrace and survive a global community. Likening ethics to behavior (or culture) and a global community to a species, one would remark;

key in laying a more sustainable foundation for economic thrust. Today, we have achieved
strides in technological advancements that in yester-years would have been thought of as
literal works of sorcery. The advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), has over the past
decades been revolutionizing the advancement of mankind’s activities and knowledge
base with a somewhat faster pace than ever before. The utilization of IoT-based Smart
Systems is no longer a mere “aesthetic” tool for the privileged affluent, but rather, has in
subsequent years evolved into gadgets and systems of safety, security, convenience, and
cost saving measures. This paper focuses on the design and development of green
technologies such as this project’s prototype, in a bid to promote conservational electrical
energy utilization practices in the Zambian household, using Bluetooth IoT. By controllimiting
the period of electricity utilization to only what is necessary, the system prototype achieves
a significant saving on the utility cost over the long term. The prototype system is basically
a simple IoT-based Android-controlled Remote-Switching System comprising a hardware system with
peripheral appliances controlled remotely by an associated android application (i.e. running on
a mobile device). Further, the document takes a trajectory to explore why these technologies
must be main stream in the implementation of much cheaper remotely-operable domestic appliance
control systems, from a Zambian, and thus third world perspective.
