Nowadays design methods of management systems in the context of complex technical systems lifecycle management are underdeveloped. The article considers the approach of construction of intelligent lifecycle management systems by Open Semantic Technologies for Intelligent Systems (OSTIS). The knowledge base of the system is based on a system of domain ontologies, supporting management of design, as well as further development of complex technical system. In this paper, the problem of making intelligent of product lifecycle management systems is considered in the context of the development lifecycle management as a knowledge management system, circulating at all stages of lifecycle. It is the particular novelty of the paper. The paper presents a methodology for designing component OSTIS, an architecture intelligent lifecycle management system, considered a fragment of lifecycle domain ontology and domain of project management by languages SCn, SCg.

It comprises various methodological perspectives ranging from simple descriptive statistics to advanced machine learning methods (such as support vector machines, random forests or neural networks) as well as material covering a large span of time and languages: from very ancient versifications (Sumerian, Akkadian, Hittie, Ancient Greek), through medieval (Old English, Old Icelandic, Old Saxon) and Renaissance verse to modern experiments (free verse, concrete poetry), from English and Russian through Spanish and German to Portuguese and Catalan. Not only written, but also spoken poetry has been analyzed. The book covers multiple topics. What they all share in common is that versification is being studied in the context of other linguistic phenomena that may affect or determine it. The paper contains some hypotheses about how humans perceive a poetic text, a mathematical model ... more The paper contains some hypotheses about how humans perceive a poetic text, a mathematical model of poetic texts, some basic principles (that one can deduct from the above hypotheses and mathematical model) for constructing tools for the automatic recognition of verse meter, some brief descriptions of algorithms for the automatic recognition of verse meter in syllabic-accentual versification, some remarks about desirable features for tools, materials, and publications on mathematic models and methods in verse study. The paper suggests that in perceiving a poetic text, humans apply the cognitive operation of extrapolation and abstraction (idealization); that in recognizing the rhythm in a short segment of a verse line, humans can extrapolate this rhythm to the whole line; that humans can abstract some minor irregularities in the rhythm of a verse line (she/he can imagine an idealized version of the rhythm; this idealized version comprises the representation of a verse meter). This scheme interprets various intelligent technologies as kinds of reasoning. All of these kinds of reasoning aim to cognition and formation of domain models. We assume that reasoning has a referential character, i.e. reasoning can use semantic arguments as well as syntactic rules of deduction. We use some non-classical logics to formalize cognitive reasoning.

We also give a new proof of the Completeness Theorem for such calculi. We investigate the quasi-varieties of algebras playing an analogous role in the theory of these finite-valued logics to the role played by the variety of Boolean algebras in classical logic.

At the formal level of abstraction the approach basically provides methods and tools in the logical–mathematical spirit. However, at the same time the formal CR framework has philosophical–methodological implications which differ from the issues described at the conceptual level of abstraction. Here we discuss some of these.

In this chapter we describe the structure, processes, techniques and methods at the conceptual le... more In this chapter we describe the structure, processes, techniques and methods at the conceptual level, which according to our approach will be necessary (i) to understand (e.g. human) cognition and (ii) to support its modelling. This structure, together with all the constituents forms, we call a “cognitive architecture”. This architecture will be developed w.r.t. a cognizing agent, which is the main actor in our approach. A cognizing agent means either a living entity (particularly a human being), or a group of them or a technical system, which can adapt to the changing conditions of the external environment.
