Gratitude therapy is a positive psychotherapy approach given to victims of sexual abuse to genera... more Gratitude therapy is a positive psychotherapy approach given to victims of sexual abuse to generate positive thinking by expressing gratitude to the environment, God and other people. This research aims to test gratitude intervention as a religious activity undertaken to reduce negative emotions in victims of sexual abuse. A total of 104 such victims were identified using the snowball sampling method who were divided into an experimental group (N=52) and a control group (N=52). They were diagnosed as having negative emotions based on the child Trauma Questionnaire Shot-Focus (CTQ-SF) and Gratitude Questioner-6 (GQ-6) with triple ANOVA data analysis. The study's results demonstrate a significant influence of gratitude on negative emotion, with values of F(39,037) = 4.71, p < .01, and ηp2 = 0.113. It can increase feelings of gratitude and reduce negative emotions in victims of sexual abuse. Gratitude therapy helps reduce negative emotions and foster positive emotions amongst such victims. The study could be implemented in people who experience negative emotions related to clinical and nonclinical disorders.

Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) is the most significant health problem in the world for adolescen... more Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) is the most significant health problem in the world for adolescents. The purpose of the study is to test the role of family harmony, emotion-focused coping, and stressful life events in non-suicidal behaviour in adolescents. This research uses a quantitatively correlational design. Sample study: 304 students at State Vocational High Schools in West Java, consisting of boys and girls aged 13-19 years. For the technique of taking samples, this study uses cluster random sampling. The family harmony scale, the emotion-focused coping scale, the stressful life events, and the non-suicidal self-injury scale are the measuring tools used in this study. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. There was a significant role among harmony family, emotion-focused coping, and stressful life events in influencing non-suicidal self-injury behavior in adolescents (r = .47, R 2 = .22, p < .05.). The contribution of harmonious families was effective at 14.38%, followed by stressful life events at 5.45% and emotion-focused coping at 2.51%. This study proves that the most potent predictor of non-suicidal self-injury behavior in adolescents is family harmony. The study is expected to increase the outlook on the importance of guarding harmony, family, and stability through education or training facilitated by school.

This study involved forty-seven participants who were randomly allocated into three groups: mindfulness dhikr breathing (MDB), progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), and a Control group that did not receive any treatment. The participants were adults aged between 20 and 35 years, with 78.72% female and 21.28% male. Among the participants, 91.49% were students, while 8.51% were employees. The treatment period spanned 28 days, with four sessions conducted every Saturday. The primary outcome measure was the assessment of the quality of life, which was evaluated using a valid and reliable World Health Organization-Quality of Life (WHOQOL) BREF questionnaire. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self-Efficacy dan Motivasi Berprestasi ... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self-Efficacy dan Motivasi Berprestasi dengan Kecemasan mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan Skripsi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh mahasiswa perguruan tinggi A yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi dan berjumlah 349 mahasiswa. Responden yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 100 mahasiswa, 45 dari Pendidikan Matematika, 35 dari PBSI, dan 25 dari Pendidikan Sejarah. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi berprestasi, angket Self-Efficacy dan angket kecemasan. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier dengan metode stepwise dan perhitungan menggunakan program SPSS. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1). Semakin tinggi selfefficacy dan motivasi berprestasi maka semakin kecil tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. 2) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sumbangan efektif variabel self-efficacy dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersamasama terhadap kecemasan mahasiswa mengerjakan skripsi sebesar 20,8%. 3) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sumbangan efektif variabel self-efficacy terhadap kecemasan mahasiswa mengerjakan skripsi sebesar 16,4%. 4). This study aims to describe the marriage satisfaction on the wives of Muslim families. The inform... more This study aims to describe the marriage satisfaction on the wives of Muslim families. The informants are six wives that have the marital period up 10 years. The method of selecting informants was done through the screening stage using the Enrich Marriage Satisfaction scale to get informants with low, moderate, and high marital satisfaction levels. Data collection uses in-depth interviews. Then the data is analyzed using inductive analysis. The findings show that wives in Muslim families consider marriage satisfaction as a benchmark to achieve the hope of having a family of sakinah, mawaddah, rahmah, happy, and intact. Wives who are able to achieve marital satisfaction can be shown through (1) two-way communication; (2) intimacy; (3) partner's together activities; (4) stable financial conditions; (5) the existence of children; (6) the practice of religious values; and (7) the effective way to deal with marriage conflicts. In conclusion, wife's marriage satisfaction varies and is influenced by their expectations.

Entrepreneurship female students are an interesting phenomenon in higher education institutions. ... more Entrepreneurship female students are an interesting phenomenon in higher education institutions. The motives underlying them involved in economic activities are not solely financial, but more psychological factors. The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological profile of business female students at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach method, this study involved 5 female students from 5 faculties in University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta who were willing to become participants. The five participating faculties are engineering, health, economics, pharmacy, and education from the 10 faculties. Characteristics of participants are female students who have entrepreneurship for at least 1 year. Data collected using documents, open questionnaires, and DASS psychological scale. The document is used to identify students who become entrepreneurs. An open questionnaire contains 12 questions given to participants by using technology based-form to fine the entrepreneurial background. The DASS scale is used to elaborate the psychological problems experienced by participants. Descriptive analysis carried out based on the themes of the questions presented in the questionnaire was associated with the results of the DASS psychological scale. The results showed that the psychological profile of entrepreneurial female students is (1) entrepreneurial motivation arises from the family; (2) the excellence of entrepreneurship is the development of selfquality; (3) the limitations of entrepreneurship are time management; (4) the challenge of entrepreneurship is to balance college assignments and respond to consumers; (5) the strategy to overcome the problem is to make a priority and networking relationships. The conclusion of the study showed that the psychological profile of female students who are entrepreneurs are classified as mature and health. The implication of research is the need to stimulate the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit among female students to improve the mental health of female students.
