Penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif ini menggunakan survey pada sampel penelitian sebanyak 128 siswa. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan ialah statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa sikap siswa pada indikator kesenangan dalam belajar IPA dominan berkategori baik, sedangkan sikap siswa pada indikator ketertarikan berkarir di bidang IPA dominan berkategori cukup.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 3 Batanghari yang ditinjau melalui 3 indikator, yaitu sikap terhadap inkuiri dalam sains, kesenangan dalam mata pelajaran IPA, dan minat berkarir dalam sains. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan total sampel 152 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket sikap yang menjelaskan sikap terhadap pembelajaran IPA melalui tiga indikator sebanyak 25 pernyataan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, ditemukan bahwa siswa di SMP 3 Batanghari pada indikator dominan pertama berada pada kategori cukup, indikator dominan kedua berada dalam kategori baik dan indikator dominan ketiga berada dalam kategori baik.
The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison of students' attitudes towards physics... more The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison of students' attitudes towards physics and the results of the student attitudes description by using indicators of scientist normality, scientific attitudes adoption and a career interest in physics at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Kota Jambi and SMAN 6 Batang Hari. This type of research is quantitative using survey research procedures where the instruments used are questionnaires. The subjects of this study were 281 students consisting of 125 students from SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Kota Jamb i and 156 students from SMAN 6 Batang Hari. Quantitative data analysis techniques use descriptive and inferential statistics. The results are indicator of the scientists normality towards physics which has differences in each school, which amounted to 65.6% and 44.9% with sufficient and good categories. For the indicator of the most dominant scientific attitudes adoption is categorized as good with a percentage of 62.4% and 64.1%, respectively. Then the indicators of career interest in physics also have similarities in each school, namely sufficient categories with a percentage of 68% and 66%. Based on these results, students at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Kota Jamb i have sufficient attitudes towards learning physics. While at SMAN 6 Batang Hari students have good attitudes towards learning physics.

This study aims to determine the relationship of hard work to the attitudes of students in scienc... more This study aims to determine the relationship of hard work to the attitudes of students in science subjects at SMPN 4 Muaro Jambi. The research design used is associative quantitative with correlation design. The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total sample of 126 students. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics display the mean, mode, minimum and maximum values. While the inferential statistics used are product-moment correlation tests. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there is a relationship of hard work towards students' attitudes in science subjects that can be seen from the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.010 <0.05 which states there is a relationship between attitude to student hard work. Then the correlation coefficient of 0.668 which states that the level of correlation is strong.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara religiusitas siswa terhadap sikap siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitaf asosiatif dengan rancangan penelitiannya adalah korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 121 siswa SMA Negeri 10 Batanghari dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu angket. Data penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan religiusitas dan sikap siswa di SMA Negeri 10 Batanghari berkategori baik. Religiusitas dan sikap siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika diketahui memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan tingkat hubungan sebesar 0.981. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa apabila siswa memiliki religiusitas yang baik tentu siswa akan bersikap baik pula, minsalnya apabila siswa memiliki keyakinan dan percaya diri yang kuat tentu siswa tersebut akan bersikap positif dengan menunjukkan sikap aktifnya ketika belajar di kelas.

This study aims to describe the relationship between students' attitudes among persistence, creat... more This study aims to describe the relationship between students' attitudes among persistence, creativity, and tolerance in science subjects in Muaro Jambi Middle School, Jambi City Middle School, and Batanghari Regency Middle School. The research design used was quantitative associated with a correlation design. The data collection technique used is total sampling. The research subjects were 767 students. The research instruments used were closed questionnaires consisting of 54 statements of attitude questionnaire, persistence, questionnaire of 30 statements, creativity questionnaire as many as 31 statements and tolerance questionnaires as many as 32 statements. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the correlation test on the four variables obtained, a relationship between students' attitudes toward persistence, creativity, and tolerance in science subjects in the Middle School in Muaro Jambi Regency is with a sufficient category. Then students' attitudes toward persistence, creativity, and tolerance in science subjects in Jambi City Junior High School have a positive relationship with a strong category. Likewise, students' attitudes toward persistence, creativity, and tolerance in science subjects in the Batanghari Regency Middle School have a positive relationship with a strong category.

The research conducted aims to identify students' attitudes toward science subjects through t... more The research conducted aims to identify students' attitudes toward science subjects through two indicators, namely the pleasure of learning science and career interests in the field of science owned by students at Junior High School 17 Jambi City. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The subjects of this research were 128 students at Junior High School 17 Jambi city with a total of 128 students. Samples were taken using a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that 72 people out of 128 respondents had sufficient attitudes in the pleasure of learning science and also had enough interest in a career in the field of science. Finding out about students in the world of education who can help in the learning process, this study aims to describe the attitudes of students in Muaro Jambi Junior High School 6 and Muaro Jambi Junior High School 5 in terms of 4 indicators, namely enjoyment in learning science, interest in increasing science learning time, social implications of science and scientific normality. The research design used is a mixed method with the type of explanatory research. The sampling technique in this study used is total sampling with the number of research subjects as many as 921 students from Muaro Jambi Junior High School 6 and Muaro Jambi Junior High School 5 and with 609 students in Junior High School 6 and 312 students in Junior High School 5. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire on the Linkert scale. Analysis of the data used is descriptive statistics with explanations and elaborations of quantitative data and qualitative data findings. Based on the results obtained from SPSS 22, there was obtained between Muaro Jambi 6th Middle School and 5 Muaro Jambi Secondary Schools, which had a dominant attitude toward students in the Natural Sciences subjects in the Good category.
