Students used to face many problems for finding the exam hall and their seats. Therefore, an exam hall seating arrangement system is needed to computerize the traditional way of preparing the examination hall allotment and generate the hall seating arrangement plan automatically for smooth conduction of exams. The proposed system will guide the students to find out their respective examination hall during their exams. This would also show the respective seat of a student in a particular row of their examination. The other objective of developing this system is to help the students to direct them to their respective examination hall without delays for going on searching for hall plan and their seat allotment. It contains the student, department, subject, staff details, examination hall and their seat allotment. This system will also send the ha...

In a graph G = (V, E), a set S ⊆ V(G) is said to be a dominating set of G if every vertex in V–S is adjacent to atleast one vertex in S. A set S ⊆ V(G) is said to be a connected dominating set of G if S is dominating set and also the subgraph <S> induced by S is connected. The research has been carried out extensively in various types of dominating sets. This paper explores mainly on the applications of dominating sets in computer networks.

The evaluation exercise is conducted with the test sets chosen from different domains and the results are compared with other existing open-source Anaphora Resolution Systems (ARSs) like Mitkov's Anaphora Resolution System (MARS) and Java Resolution of Anaphora Procedure (Java RAP). We have selected news documents belong to five different domains and it is trained with AGS among which some set of documents and their corresponding extract is taken as the test set and executed in various ARSs for comparison. The proposed system is evaluated and its performances are studied with standard metrics of Information Extraction (IE) systems such as Success rate, Precision, Recall and F-measure.

Care must be taken in placing the nodes for effective optimization of accessing the resources in the network. In this paper, merging of two arbitrary wireless sensor network is considered and aims at optimizing the placement of nodes by utilizing the concept of connected domatic number of a graph.

Automatic stenosis grading system for diagnosing coronary artery disease using coronary angiogram
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Technology

The paper proposes a system that helps to describe the level of stenosis in coronary angiogram image by using mathematical morphology and thresholding technique. A novel method is introduced to determine the percentage of stenosis and its grading. Based on the diagnostic results, myocardial infarction (MI) is treated well-in-advance. A real time clinical dataset consisting of 25 conventional coronary angiographies with 865 frames is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed system. The execution of the proposed system is inspected by a cardiologist and confirmed the system has produced excellent segmentation and stenosis grading automatically. Sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and precision of the system are 94.74%, 83.33%, 92% and 94.74%, respectively with an average computational time of 0.84 sec. Kappa value also shows perfect system agreement for stenosis grading.
