The design of laws that control the industrial facilities is the basic concerns of engineers in o... more The design of laws that control the industrial facilities is the basic concerns of engineers in order to ensure the optimal cost-effectiveness of these facilities. In the literature, most of the control laws deal with the linear systems whereas most of the industrial facilities are a nonlinear systems that are difficult to control. In this context falls this paper that deals with the design of a feed backing control law for a class of nonlinear systems. In this paper, a design of a feed backing control law for a class of nonlinear systems is proposed. The synthesis of this control law is inspired by exploiting the duality between the techniques of high gain observer. Besides, it will be shown that the proposed control law can perfectly be robust in the stochastic environment while reducing appropriately the noise control system sensitivity. Finally, the proposed control law will be validated in simulation through a nonlinear system.

This growth make it very popular for the communication amongst university students especially Tabuk university students. In fact, these social websites can be a good manner to exchange the information between students and even with their teachers. However, excessive social media can affect the student academic performance and make this use in question. This research tries to investigate about the benefits and the drawbacks of the social media use on student academic performance by conducting a survey on university students in Saudi Arabia especially in Tabuk university. The survey also explored which social network is the most popular amongst Tabuk university students and which one is useful for their academic skills. The survey has received 270 responses and descriptive statistics shows the relationship between the numbers of hours spent exploring the social media sites and the academic performances for the student. The results of this paper can be useful to propose an effective plan to enhance the academic performance for the students by improving the use of the social media sites.

A high gain like observer with updated gain is proposed for a class of cascade nonlinear and non ... more A high gain like observer with updated gain is proposed for a class of cascade nonlinear and non triangular systems that are observable for any input. The objective of the gain adaptation is to perform an admissible tradeoff between state reconstruction dynamics on the one hand versus noise amplification on the other hand. To this end, the gain of the proposed observer is tuned through a single scalar time-varying parameter governed by an adequate differential Riccati equation. The involved adaptation process is mainly driven by the power of the output observation error norm computed on a moving horizon window. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed observer, namely its exponential convergence and its insensitivity with respect to noise measurements.

The first one is related to the considered class of systems that is composed by cascade subsystems and each subsystem is associated to a subset of the outputs. Each subsystem assumes a triangular dependence on the state of that subsystem itself but may depend on the state of all other subsystems. Hence, the contribution is to extend the results existing in the literature in that more interconnections between the subsystems are allowed. The second important result lies in the nature of the observer gain which involves a scalar time-varying parameter governed by some scalar Riccati equation. Simulation results are given in order to highlight the performances of the proposed observer, namely its exponential convergence and a good behavior with respect to noise measurements.

Synthèse des observateurs pour les systèmes non linéaires. (Synthesis of observers for nonlinear systems)

Les observateurs sont des capteurs logiciels ayant pour but la reconstruction d'etat pour la ... more Les observateurs sont des capteurs logiciels ayant pour but la reconstruction d'etat pour la supervision, la commande ou le diagnostic des systemes. Dans ce travail, on s'interesse a la resolution du compromis entre la rapidite de la convergence et l'insensibilite aux bruits de mesure duquel souffre l'observateur a grand gain. Dans un premier temps, on propose la synthese d'un observateur a grand gain dynamique pour certaines classes de systemes non lineaires multi-sorties uniformement observables. La caracteristique principale de ce type d'observateurs reside dans le fait que le gain de l'observateur est pris variable au cours de temps et obeit a une dynamique de type Ricatti. La convergence exponentielle de l'observateur a grand gain dynamique est detaillee.
