Ul... more INTRODUCTION Unilateral or bilateral dilation of the ureters occurs commonly during pregnancy. Ultrasonography is a suitable diagnostic method for hydronephrosis; however, it cannot differentiate obstructive from nonobstructive hydronephrosis. Our aim was to evaluate measurable changes in hydronephrosis induced by a mother's positional changes using ultrasonography to differentiate hydronephrosis during pregnancy from pathologic etiologies. MATERIALS AND METHODS Pregnant women presenting for routine ultrasonography were enrolled in this study. A patient history was taken, and a physical examination was performed. Ultrasonography was performed to determine gestational age, parity, fetal presentation, presence or absence of hydramnios, and hydronephrosis and its severity. Thirty minutes after changing position (flank position or on all fours), patients were reevaluated by ultrasonography to determine the severity of hydronephrosis. RESULTS Of 59 pregnant women with an average age ...

Based on Mössbauer spectroscopy results, the reduced saturation magnetization of MnZn nanoferrite respect to that of bulk sample is due to nonequilibrium cation distribution and spin disorder. The enhanced Curie temperature of MnZn nanoferrite respect to that of bulk sample can be attributed to the strengthening of the (A)-O-[B] superexchange interactions due to an increase of the magnetic ion concentration in the (A) site. Iranian traditional medicine (ITM) stressed the importance of nutrition in the prevention and treatment of male infertility. Many Iranian traditional physicians have described the traits of specific foods for prevention and treatment of male infertility. To explore the principles and roles of foods recommended by ITM scientists in prevention and treatment of male infertility as well as enlisting all the recommended foods for treating this problem addressed through the ITM original resources written between 815 and 1901. In this review study specific data related to the subject among all referral ITM texts was extracted firstly, and then the collected data were analyzed using inductive content analysis. The analysis of data revealed that foods that enhance sexual performance must have 3 properties; they should be warm in nature, very nutritious, and flatulent. Foods that are warm in nature and nutritious affect ...

For this purpose we decided to explain it in this study. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to describe the palpitation in both modern and traditional medicine aspect. It may help us to diagnose and cure better because the traditional medicine view is holistic and different from modern medicine. Materials and Methods: We addressed some descriptions to the articles of traditional medicine subjects which have published recently. Palpitation in modern medicine was extracted from medical books such as Braunwald, Harrison and Guyton physiology and some related articles obtained from authentic journals in PubMed and Ovid and Google scholar between1990 to 2013. Results: According to modern medicine, there are many causes for palpitation and in some cases it is cured symptomatically. In traditional medicine view, palpitation has been explained completely and many causes have been described. Its aspect is holistic and it cures causatively. The traditional medicine scientists evaluated the body based on Humors and temperament. Temperament can be changed to dis-temperament in diseases. Humors are divided in 4 items: sanguine, humid or phlegm, melancholy and bile. Palpitation is a disease, it is heart vibration and is caused by an abnormal substance in the heart itself or its membrane or other adjacent organs that would result in the heart suffering. Conclusions: Our data of this article suggests that causes of palpitation in the aspect of traditional medicine are completely different from modern medicine. It can help us to approach and treat this symptom better and with lower side effects than chemical drugs. According to this article we are able to detect a new approach in palpitation.

The NiFe 2 À 2x Sn x Cu x O 4 nanoparticles were prepared by high energy ball milling (HEBM). The samples were characterized by the X-ray diffraction technique. All samples exhibited spinel structures. The crystalline size and internal strain were evaluated by XRD patterns using Williamson-Hall and Scherrer methods. Magnetic properties of the nanoparticles ferrite were studied by means of alternating gradient force magnetometry (AGFM) and Faraday balance.

SQUID measurements (field-cooled magnetization curves and hysteresis loops) were performed to follow the mechanically induced evolution of the MnFe 2 O 4 /ZnFe 2 O 4 mixture submitted to the high-energy milling process. The resulting single MnZn nanoferrite phase was characterized by SQUID (M-H curve), Faraday balance (M-T curve) and transmission electron microscopy. The magnetic characteristics of the mechanosynthesized material were compared with those of bulk Mn 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2 O 4. It was found that the saturation magnetization of nanostructured Mn 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 (87.2 emu/g) is lower than that of the bulk Mn 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 , but, the Né el temperature of the sample (583 K) is higher than that of the bulk Mn 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 .

The effect of substitution of Fe 3 + ions by Sn 4 + and Cu 2 + cations on the structural and magnetic properties of the ferrite was studied by means of 57 Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, alternating gradient force magnetometry (AGFM) and Faraday balance. Whereas undoped NiFe 2 O 4 adopts a fully inverse spinel structure of the type (Fe)[NiFe]O 4 , Sn 4 + and Cu 2 + cations tend to occupy octahedral positions in the structure of the substituted ferrite. Based on the results of Mössbauer spectroscopic measurements, the crystal-chemical formula of the substituted ferrite may be written as (Fe)[NiFe 1 À 2x Sn x Cu x ]O 4 , where parentheses and square brackets enclose cations in tetrahedral (A) and octahedral [B] coordination, respectively. The Né el temperature and the saturation magnetization values of the NiFe 2 À 2x Sn x Cu x O 4 samples were found to decrease with increasing degree of substitution (x). The variation of the saturation magnetization with x measured using the AGFM method and that calculated on the basis of the Mössbauer spectroscopic measurements are in qualitative agreement.

Nozj is closely related to the many stages of digestion and affects many aspects of health and disease. Nozj status in different parts of body may be assessed and monitored using many signs and symptoms regularly not considered fairly important to other schools of treatment especially the mainstream medicine. Uncompleted process of Nozj leads to accumulation of different substances in different parts of the body. This process, generally be named as the "Bad-anbaasht" syndrome, predisposes a wide variety of famous known medical conditions.

Abstract The bulk NiFe 2− x Bi x O 4 ferrites with various Bi 3+ concentration ( x =0, 0.1, 0.15)... more Abstract The bulk NiFe 2− x Bi x O 4 ferrites with various Bi 3+ concentration ( x =0, 0.1, 0.15) were synthesized via sol–gel procedure, starting from nickel, bismuth and iron nitrate powders, followed by the conventional thermal treatment. The structural and magnetic properties of the as-prepared ferrites were studied by means of X-ray diffraction, alternating gradient force magnetometry and Faraday balance. The anisotropy constant was determined by the law of approach to saturation (LAS) model. An increasing Bi 3+ concentration in NiFe 2− x Bi x O 4 leads to a decrease in the saturation magnetization, Neel temperature and the anisotropy constant of the material.
