It is specifically in that context that our article reexamined the question of Glissant's subversive rhetorical strategy by relating it to the judicial impetus. In fact, it's a question of a counterrhetoric that underpinned not only antipoetic, but also composite aesthetic. This is how the West Indian novelist-orator tries to annul cultural typicality and cultivate the intermixing between different human imaginations.

This paper investigates the perceptions of EFL teachers towards vocabulary teaching in the EFL cl... more This paper investigates the perceptions of EFL teachers towards vocabulary teaching in the EFL classroom. The participants in this study are three oral expression teachers and 32 teachers at the English Language and Literature Department at Mohamed Lamine Dabaghine University, Sétif 2-Algeria. The research follows a quantitative and a qualitative design that uses a questionnaire and an observation respectively to answer its questions. The questionnaire collected the perceptions of the participants about their vocabulary teaching method. The observation phase was conducted to compare the responses of the observed participants with their actual classroom teaching methods. Analysis of the questionnaire data revealed that the teacher participants have a low perception of vocabulary teaching methods. Moreover, analysis of the obtained results from the observation revealed low vocabulary methods teaching perceptions and lack of awareness among the teachers in terms of vocabulary teaching methods use.

On estime que la contre-épopée de Glissant est organiquement liée à l’éloquence épidictique dont s’accroît la rhétorique sous-tendant son écriture et son œuvre romanesque dans l’intention d’autoriser les Antillais à recouvrer leur mémoire collective et à prendre leur destin en main. C’est ainsi que l’écrivain martiniquais fait appel aux musiciens et aux différentes expressions musicales dans l’objectif de chanter l’antillanité et changer la donne anthropologique et géoculturelle dans l’archipel des Antilles.

Somme toute, l’ecrivain s’emploie a promouvoir la transrhetorique, laquelle tient lieu de coupure epistemologique avec la culture atavique et la systematisation coloniale sous laquelle succombent les Caraibes. Dans cette perspective, il met en jeu les differents genres oratoires (l’epidictique, le judiciaire et le deliberatif), dans l’objectif de faire face a l’alienation, issue de la philosophie occidentale de l’Histoire. C’est ainsi egalement que le romancier envisage rehabiliter les differents imaginaires artistiques de la totalite-monde dans l’intention non seulement de mettre en crise le regime politique injuste de la mondialisation, mais egalement de proposer des solutions aux fleaux terribles qui en decoulent.
