Cyber security awareness and education are central to any attempt to secure cyber space. In the education system, youth must be made aware of the possible attacks and types of intruders. Due to the sophisticated methods used to commit cybercrime, the implementation and investigation of cybercrime have become more demanding and time-consuming. For the police to successfully investigate and punish acts of crime, it is necessary to know and understand the operations of the perpetrators. A qualitative research approach utilizing purposive sampling was adopted to explore the capacity of policing cybercrime in the study area. The findings collected through semi-structured interviews with eight key informants comprising of South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Intelligence Unit officials suggest that there is a limited cybercrime investigative expertise within the specialized investigation units, coupled with the cyber-elements that are part of almost every traditional crime investigation today, has caused a significant increase in the workload of cybercrime investigative units. In any organisation, employees are working to provide service to both internal and external clients for this it is important to take care of employees because they are interacting with these clients. Thus, a cardinal question is how can organisations retain and motivate employees in order to offer a quality service to their clients? The aim of this study was to determine the influence between rewards, motivation and service quality at the SAPS Training College, Paarl. Semi-structured interviews with 10 managers and supervisors utilizing purposive sampling were conducted. This seeks to identify the contributing factors of domestic violence against women in the rural a... more This seeks to identify the contributing factors of domestic violence against women in the rural areas of Magatle, Lebowakgomo and Zebediela policing area. A quantitative self-administrative survey was used; the primary data was collected from respondents comprised of ordinary heads of households (both men and women), community leaders (mostly men) in the area and police officers stationed within the three police stations, namely Lebowakgomo, Magatle and Zebediela. Responses obtained from 978 of 1527 questionnaires distributed to respondents, of which 721 were ordinary heads of households (both men and women) (38.2%), 168 community leaders (mostly men) (31.9%) and 89 SAPS officials (29.9%). African respondents were in majority making up of 975 (98.8%) and unknown 13 (1.2%). The findings indicated that many African women experience violence in partner relationships.
