На изложби "Златна архитектура Пирота" представљамо 20 радова, величине 60 х 60 цм, у техници инт... more На изложби "Златна архитектура Пирота" представљамо 20 радова, величине 60 х 60 цм, у техници интервенција на фотографији. Природа изложбе је двојaка: архитектонска и уметничка. Тема радова односи се на област наслеђа и заштите споменика културе, али и на савремену визуелну уметност, теорију и историју архитектуре. Радови су резултат ликовног компоновања различитих архитектонских мотива који су, техником дигиталног колажа, спојени у специфичне целине-у складу са циљем изложбе. А циљ ове презентације је померање фокуса са конфекцијске на заштићену архитектуру града Пирота. Ликовном интервенцијом наглашен је процес вредновања наслеђене архитектуре, према усвојеној идеји уметности као сонди друштва. Фотографије су реализоване техником аналогне црно-беле фотографије, средњег формата (6 х 6 цм), која је пребачена у дигитални запис. Дигитални принт је изведен на сликарском платну, на блинд-раму. Радови су урамљени танким необрађеним дрвеним лајснама. Међународни одбор и савет изложбе формирани су ради остваривања њеног међународног карактера. Панел-дискусија на отварању Изложбе организована је са циљем повезивања блиских народа и њихове културе. Наша намера је да се преко архитектуре и уметности додатно учврсте пријатељски односи, као и да се да се кроз међународну сарадњу снага културе усмери ка обликовању бољег друштва Аутор Exhibition named "Golden Architecture of Pirot" consists of 20 artworks (60 x 60 cm each). Technically, artworks are overpainted photographs. The character of the exhibition is twofold: architectural and artistic. The theme has its roots in the heritage and preservation protection of cultural monuments, but it also belongs to contemporary visual art, architectural design, theory and history of architecture. Artworks present artistic compositions of various architectural motifs which are, using a technique of digital collage, combined in specific and original structures, that match the exhibition's goal. Main aim of this exhibition is to shift the focus from schematic to protected architecture. Using the artistic intervention, the process of evaluation of inherited architecture is emphasised. The photographs are created using the technique of analogue black and white photography of medium format (6 x 6 cm) transferred to the digital record. Photos are printed on canvas, in digital print technique. Artworks are framed in thin, untreated wooden frames. The International Committee and the Council of the exhibition were formed to work on the international character of the exhibition. Panel-discussion at the opening of the exhibition is organized with the goal to connecting close communities and their culture. My intention is to further strengthen friendly relations through architecture and art, as well as to direct the power of culture towards the formation of a better society through international cooperation. Along with the architecture, this presentation also discusses the development of the study progra... more Along with the architecture, this presentation also discusses the development of the study program at the Faculty of Electronics in Niš, which directly influenced the design of its new annex. With the idea of enabling a more thorough education and a faster interconnection between science and entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia invested in the construction of the Multi-Purpose Lamella at the Faculty of Electronics, University of Niš. The project was completed by the Teking Architecture Studio from Niš. The lamella is an extension of the existing building of the Faculty of Electronics, forming a coherent whole with it. The design concept of the building was developed by integrating a number of key influential determinants (program, place and time of construction), and it reflects and emphasizes the architecture of the original structure.

In the last few years, Stara planina (the Balkan Mountains) and its surroundings have been improv... more In the last few years, Stara planina (the Balkan Mountains) and its surroundings have been improving their tourist offer. The area is protected by law, as a nature park, and the construction of new buildings requires a complex administrative procedure. Renovation of country houses is part of the usual construction procedures and is easier to carry out. Typical renovation solutions involve application of industrial materials with significant impact on the environment from the process of their production and further on. The traditional houses found in many mountains across Serbia and the Balkans are constructed using natural materials. Hence, this paper tackles the problem of renovating such dwellings by application of natural materials to improve their usability and reduce their energy and carbon footprint. An analysis is performed on a case study model of a typical house from Stara planina. The advantages of using natural materials in the process of renovating a traditional house are analysed. By using TRNSYS software, the total amount of energy demands of the house during a typical meteorological year with four scenarios (current state, walls isolated with sheep and hemp wool panels and EPS) was simulated. These materials were further analysed for their environmental impact by means of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). In the synthesis of the research, the best results were brought into connection with the sustainable development of the architectural heritage. The results prove that natural products provide the necessary thermal comfort and have a significantly more positive impact on the environment than artificial materials. Based on this study, recommendations were created for the sustainable renovation of vernacular architecture in Serbia. The goal of the paper is to create scientific and professional evidence that local and natural materials must be used to reduce the impact of climate change and that such sustainable renovation is in accordance with modern architectural design and thermal comfort. The goal is also to fill the gap in renovation methods in Serbia, according to the principles of sustainable design.

ovom radu prikazano je naše rešenje uraĎeno u okviru Konkursa za izradu rešenja spomen-hrama i p... more ovom radu prikazano je naše rešenje uraĎeno u okviru Konkursa za izradu rešenja spomen-hrama i parternog ureĎenja, na mestu krsnog znamenja stradalima prilikom bombardovanja 6. aprila 1941. godine, u porti Vaznesenjskog hrama u ulici Admirala Geprata 19 u opštini Savski venac u Beogradu. Konkurs je završen u septembru 2020. godine, ali žiriranje još uvek nije završeno usled promene u sastavu žirija. U okviru javne prezentacije rešenja, naveli smo razloge zbog kojih smo umesto spomen-hrama projektovali spomen mesto.

У овом раду приказани су конкурси за израду урбанистичко- архитектонских решења православних храмова у Нишу, који су реализовани у периоду од 1998. до 2021. године. У протекле две године студентски конкурси за нишке храмове реализовани су у оквиру предмета Сакрална архитектура на Грађевинско-архитектонском факултету Универзитета у Нишу у сарадњи са Православном eпархијом нишком. Поред документовања награђених радова, анализирани су резултати конкурса са циљем унапређења конкурсне праксе. Приказ конкурсних радова повезан је и са темом увођења сакралне архитектуре у архитектонски образовни процес, са циљем унапређења процеса архитектонског пројектовања српских православних храмова и са циљем документовања нишких конкурса за израду идејних решења српских православних храмова. На основу приказаних радова и анализе награђених решења указано је на значај овог феномена.

ABSTRACT
This paper presents the competitions for developing urban- architectural solutions for Orthodox churches in Niš which took place from 1998 to 2021. In the past two years, student competitions for churches in Niš have taken place under the theme of “Sacred Architecture” at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Niš, in cooperation with the Orthodox Diocese of Niš. In addition to documenting the award-winning works, the paper analyzes the results of the competitions, with the aim of improving competition practice. The review of the competition entries is also related to the possibility of introducing sacral architecture into architectural educational, with the aim of improving the architectural design of Serbian Orthodox churches and documenting the competitions in Niš in order to development ideas for Serbian

U ovom radu, u formi intervjua, prikazan je razgovor sa arhitektom Goranom Jovanovićem, koji je s... more U ovom radu, u formi intervjua, prikazan je razgovor sa arhitektom Goranom Jovanovićem, koji je snimljen 13. oktobra 2012. godine u okviru projekta „Hramovi o hramovima”. Namera projekta je skretanje pažnje na suštinu građenja i projektovanja srpskih pravoslavnih hramova, kroz diskusiju o pravilima građenja, očuvanju kulturnog i duhovnog nasleđa i analizu arhitektonskih dostignuća savremene srpske sakralne arhitekture. Najvažniji zaključci razgovora sa Goranom Jovanovićem u vezi sa novijom srpskom pravoslavnom arhitekturom su: poštovanje je tradicije moguće ostvariti i bez ponavljanja rešenja iz prošlosti; kupola je veoma jak simbol uvrežen u narodu i neprirodno je njeno odbacivanje; ako je cilj projektovanja tradicija, može se ući u dekadenciju u smislu arhitekture.

We are witnessing growing problems within pollution, energy problems, insufficient parking space, and lack of public areas. Also, to evaluate contemporary architecture according to modern theory and practice, the authors propose the development of the city by considering crucial problems. We hypothesize that planning has greatly diminished the value of contemporary architecture. Case studies are done for terraced houses in the settlement of the Tiger factory newer houses on the left bank of the river Nisava and Western quay settlement. Their design is evaluated according to the criteria of the five design principles.

Теме разговора су: правила грађења српских православних храмова у XXI веку, однос традиције и традиционализма у оквиру православне архитектуре, утицај литургије на форму храма, симболика куполе, развој српске сакралне архитектуре и препоруке за пројектовање савремених храмова. Разговори у оквиру пројекта „Храмови о храмовима” осмишљени су ради превазилажења актуелне кризе критеријума грађења српских православних храмова, кроз сарадњу свих учесника у изградњи храма. Путем разговора са савременим архитектима аутор покушава да унапреди будуће стварање амбијената, градова и светиња. Најважнији закључци разговора са Божидаром Манићем су: треба раздвојити традицију од традиционализма, нема обавезујућих правила која се односе на архитектонску форму цркве, простор храма треба да омогући несметано одвијање богослужења и олтар мора бити на истоку, одвојен од наоса.

The first part shows the process of urban design. In the second part, by using square in Pirot as an example the completed urban project will be assessed according to analysis of unity in space and ambience. The basic hypothesis of this work is that architecture (in general) and urban design (in particular) depend on the context that is defined by three decisive factors: programme, place and time.

Na osnovu analize krize kriterijuma srpske sakralne arhitekture u 21. veku, predloženo je rešenje orgаnskog posmаtrаnja hrama. Predstavljena liturgijska shemа hrаmа predstаvljа jedаn deo ukupnog rаzumevаnjа suštine prаvoslаvnog hrаmа i u cilju sаstаvljаnjа osnovnog progrаmа zа projektovаnje srpskih prаvoslаvnih hrаmovа, potrebno je definisаti prostor koji odgovаrа svim akterima koji su uključeni u izgradnju i korišćenje crkve.

Kаo set preporukа ili polаzištа nаstаlа su projektаntskа nаčelа, kojа zаstupаju stаv dа je аrhitektonsko projektovаnje sveobuhvаtni misаoni, etički, kreаtivni proces, koji trebа dа rezultirа konstаntnim poboljšаnjem i unаpređenjem kvаlitetа izgrаđene sredine. Pet projektаntskih nаčelа su: jedinstvo prostorа, аmbijentаlizаcijа, kontekstuаlnost, evolucijа idejа i profesionаlnа etikа.

Веза између црквених правила и савремене архитектуре је у науци недовољно истражена. Јасно дефини... more Веза између црквених правила и савремене архитектуре је у науци недовољно истражена. Јасно дефинисан теолошки програм српског православног храма још увек није јавно исказан. Црква јесте литургијски организам и њену суштину у контексту архитектуре треба посматрати кроз одвијање Свете Литургије. Повод за повезивање литургијског процеса и архитектуре православних храмова је криза критеријума грађења српских православних цркава. Под утицајем наручиоца, градитељи симулирају вредност средњевековне Србије, кроз понављање изабраних мотива у неубедљивој архитектонској композицији маса. Непознавање принципа пројектовања документовано је неодговарајућим положајем појединих елемената храма у односу на литургијски процес. Резултат повезивања литургије и архитектуре може се представити једноставном схемом која даје информацију о неопходном простору цркве за одвијање Свете Литургије.
Рад се бави анализом литургијске функције у архитектури српског православног храма на примеру црк... more Рад се бави анализом литургијске функције у архитектури српског православног храма на примеру цркве у манастиру Светог Јована Богослова, недалеко од села Поганово. Резултати овог истраживања коришћени су са циљем расветљавања основних и обавезних делова храма, у архитектонском и теолошком смислу. Циљ рада је дефинисање теолошког програма српског православног храма проистеклог из анализе литургијског процеса. Архитектонски и теолошки поглед на српски православни храм се спајају у истраживању функције, која се огледа у спољашњем и унутрашњем поретку објекта. Са циљем унапређења односа пројектант – наручилац, питања архитектонске форме, стила и традиције су намерно изостављена из оквира рада. Потреба дефинисања неопходног литургијског простора препозната је на обе стране, као и намера да се тема шири и унапређује.
