In this paper we have proposed a new approach named as "A Novel Antiphishing framework based on visual cryptography" to solve the problem of phishing. Here an image based authentication using Visual Cryptography (vc) is used. The use of visual cryptography is explored to preserve the privacy of image captcha by decomposing the original image captcha into two shares that are stored in separate database servers such that the original image captcha can be revealed only when both are simultaneously available; the individual sheet images do not reveal the identity of the original image captcha. Once the original image captcha is revealed to the user it can be used as the password.
The relationship between traumatic brain injuries and associated peripheral nerve injuries has no... more The relationship between traumatic brain injuries and associated peripheral nerve injuries has not been previously studied in children in the rehabilitation setting. One hundred and fifty-seven consecutive admissions of brain-injured children were included in this prospective study to determine the frequency and pattern of recovery of peripheral nerve injuries in such patients. Twelve patients met the clinical diagnostic criteria for peripheral nerve injury. Electrodiagnostic studies confirmed the clinical diagnosis in 11 (7%) patients. Grading of spontaneous activity and electrodiagnostic study of the contralateral limb were used to differentiate electromyographic abnormalities due to upper motor neuron lesion and nerve injury. Electrodiagnostic study was useful to confirm clinical diagnosis and predict prognosis of nerve injuries. Two patients developed preventable pressure neuropathy. Eight patients showed moderate or full recovery in 9-10 months post-injury. All children with severe brain injuries should be evaluated for concomitant peripheral nerve injuries.
Endocrine dysfunction and parameters of metabolic syndrome were assessed in 91 patients aged 4.3-... more Endocrine dysfunction and parameters of metabolic syndrome were assessed in 91 patients aged 4.3-32.5 years who underwent allogeneic or autologous BMT in childhood. Final short stature, found in five of the 35 patients who attained final height, was associated with the underlying disease (specifically, Fanconi anemia) (P ¼ 0.0013), previous cranial irradiation (P ¼ 0.0007), type of conditioning irradiation (Po0.05) and allogeneic BMT (P ¼ 0.05). Growth hormone deficiency (n ¼ 10) was associated with previous cranial irradiation (Po0.005) and conditioning total body irradiation (Po0.001). Twelve patients had primary hypothyroidism, one had hyperthyroidism and one papillary thyroid carcinoma. Hypothyroidism was associated with neck/mediastinal (Po0.005) and conditioning irradiation (Po0.05). Primary gonadal failure was found in 24 of the mature patients (62.5% females). Hypogonadism was associated with the underlying disease (especially hematological malignancies) (Po0.05), pretransplant treatment (Po0.05), irradiation conditioning (Po0.001), older age (Po0.005) and advanced pubertal stage at BMT (Po0.05). Obesity (body mass index 42 s.d.) was found in 4.4% and type II diabetes and impaired glucose tolerance in 3.3% each. Dyslipidemia was found in 27.9% of the 43 patients tested. These findings emphasize the need for long-term follow-up of endocrine and metabolic parameters in young patients after BMT in order to offer proper treatment and improve quality of life.

Patients were evaluated weekly. Results: RIS was associated with a greater Improvement than HAL lrom baseline on measures 01 overall psychopathology (24% vs 10%, P =0.03). RIS showed no significant liability lor either OCD or depressive symptoms. More 01 the HAL group than the RIS group required side-effect medication (61 % vs 21 %, P • 0.001). Subjective response to RIS was largely positive, while It was predominantly dysphoric to HAL (p .. 0.01). Conclusions: These results suggest that RIS Is more efficacious, causes less EPS, requires less adjunctive medication, and results in substantially less subjective dysphoria than HAL in treatment-refractory patients.

MRI was contraindicated for two of the patients treated by FSRS. Patients treated by FSRS had a median tumor volume of 51.1 cm 3 (range 16.09-123.3) and SRS patients had a median tumor volume of 10.4 cm 3 (range 0.29-60.1). The tumor volume treated was significantly different in the two groups (p\0.01) However, tumor volume did not predict for overall survival (p = 0.47) or salvage after surgery (p = 0.37). Age #50 versus .50 years did not impact patient overall survival (p = 0.49) or survival after salvage therapy (p = 0.37). Conclusions: Salvage radiosurgery is feasible for recurrent high grade glioma with radiographic response and there is no clear survival difference between FSRS and SRS techniques, which typically reflect the tumor volume. Future salvage GBM studies investigating specific criteria for FSRS versus SRS would be beneficial.

Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2A (MEN2A) is an autosomal dominant syndrome that is associated... more Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2A (MEN2A) is an autosomal dominant syndrome that is associated with hyperparathyroidism in 20% to 30% of adult gene carriers. The appropriate surgical management of these patients remains in question. Approaches to this disease range from selective gland resection to a subtotal parathyroidectomy with or without autotransplantation. Despite surgical intervention, disease recurrence is problematic. Surgical management of patients found to have recurrence relies on localizing the anatomic location of the hyperfunctional gland(s). The primary imaging modality for localization of hyperfunctioning parathyroid glands is technetium 99m sestamibi single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). Although sestamibi imaging has a sensitivity of 60% to 90%, specific anatomic detail is not always present by this imaging modality. Four-dimensional computed tomography (4D-CT) scans allow localization of ectopic parathyroid glands and autotransplanted parathyroid tissue, and they provide the anatomic detail necessary for decisions about appropriate surgical management. Another benefit of the 4D-CT scan is that enhancement characteristics, which are determined by contrast opacification of the hyperfunctional parathyroid tissue over 4 phases of the scan, correlate with metabolic activity. We recommend the use of 4D-CT scanning because of its capacity to identify hyperfunctional parathyroid glands and to provide anatomic information important in preoperative planning. Previous results suggested that muscarinic antagonists bind to a pocket located toward the extracellular region of the TMDs, primarily at TMDs 2, 3, 6, and 7. Tyrosine-82 (Y82) is located in TMD2 only one helical turn from the presumed membrane surface of Hm1, whereas a phenylalanine (F124) is found in the equivalent position of the closely related Hm3. In order to determine the contribution of Y82 to Hm1 ligand binding and selectivity versus Hm3, we constructed the point mutation Y82 F of Hm1 and measured binding affinities of various ligands, with 3H-N-methylscopolamine (3H-NMS) as the tracer. The Hm1 wild-type receptor and the Y82F mutant were transfected into human embryonic kidney U293 cells. Whereas the affinities of NMS, carbachol, and atropine were either unchanged (carbachol) or enhanced by less than twofold (atropine and NMS), the affinity of the Hm1-selective pirenzepine was reduced threefold by the Y82F mutation. These changes parallel affinity differences of Hm1 and Hm3, indicating that the Y82 F mutation affects the binding pocket and that Y82 contributes to the binding selectivity among closely related muscarinic receptors.
